PJ....- No one knows everything about 50s & early 60s music. No one ever will either. As I said in an earlier post, I collected from the early 50s till the early 90s. I had 150,000+ records at one time. Neary all were DooWop/R&B and were pre Beatles. Sure, there were duplicates and some junk but buying them for nickels and dimes then selling them (in a lot of cases) for many 100s of dollars it was worth it. It still blows me away when someone posts a great record that I've never seen or heard.

Fenix9885 - Even though I don't collect anymore, I still will stop and look through a stack of records at junk stores, flea markets, goodwill shops, etc. Not to buy anything, just to look. I've probably seen 5+ million records over the past 7 years since I've moved here to Florida. Not that I've looked at them all, just seen piles and piles (or boxes) of stuff. 99.99% are garbage or too beat to play. Anyone can have a million record collection, it's quality that counts.

You can look all your life and still not hear all the good/great ones. I've looked at easily over a million records since the early 50s and there are still many good ones posted here that I've never heard.
