These are Georgian Mountain dogs, also known as Caucasian Shepherds. The original breed comes from Georgia but since Georgia once was the part of the Soviet Union, Russians renamed it from Georgian Shepherd to Caucasian Shepherd.

for those who dont know, these dogs destroy pit bulls in a dog fight about 8 times out of 10, it's just that there arent almost any in USA so people think pit bulls are the strongest. They beat them probably because pit bulls are used to fighting other dogs, and these are used to fighting bears and packs of wolves.

Ive seen vids in Russia of pits curring them out.

Ive also seen vids of these dogs getting grabbed by the leg, BY Pits, and quitting.

Also seen vids of them quittin after 20 minutes of fighting, and this was in cold weather.

Usually they use their size advantage and maul the pit for 10-15 minutes and then they tire, while the Pit is just getting warmed up.

But, I must admit those weren't these dogs, it was sharplaninci, I don't know how to translate that, they are probably found only here, in balkans, and they mostly treat pit bulls like rats in a fight. This breed looks almost the same as them, so I asume they have the same fighting abilities. I suggest you get off the internet for your facts and tone down your pretentious bullshitting.

Ive seen them from Turkey, Pakistan AND Russia. Hundreds of videos of footage.

And medium sized Game Pits usually cur them larger dogs out after 20 minutes, in snow or not. Kangals, Ovchartkas, Shars, Tosas it doesnt matter.

They're just playing - my staffordshire bull terriers do it all the time and they get plenty of exercise. My Rhodesian Ridgebacks tend to play like that more on the run in the open.

My wife & I are getting 2 male Cos and 2 females, all as puppies. We are going to seperate them ofcourse but do what works for you, I wouldnt ask to many people questions because everyone will tell you not to get two males lol. funny because they never had to males so how would they know even then all dogs are diff

@tuki1boo I am not that familiar with C.O. but I agree, there is nothing wrong with getting 2 males...If you socialise them properly you'll have no problems (especially if one is adult and the other grows up with him). I had a male Husky mix and a male Romanian Bucovina Shepherd and they got along well. The Husky was the boss cause he was older. And they always came to the defence of the other. If for example one was attacked by another dog the other would assist.
