I love Tom Jones, but he really should not have done this! He would have been better by himself as someone else here suggeted. Paul Anka is a great song writer (he did write "She's A Lady", but he can't sing that either!) There are many reasons he should stick to the writing & let others do the singing & this is a great example of that fact!!

As for the band: considering there ain't no horns in the song, but they're all there, makes me think its a union thing. The guitar/keyboards (its all synth anyway) are workin in but the drummer aint. Maybe backing tracks, live vocal. Was coming in vogue around this time. Plenty of real deal out there!
