  • Irreversible Brought you Here ?

  • @sharkblanc yes sir

  • anyone think they just take off there helmets and walk around like normal people??? O_o

  • @USpropoganda, Yeah just about everything Daft Punk does is ahead of it's time!!!

  • @Tyler11440 Im pretty sure bangalter would do most of the vocals, because in interviews he has a lot less of an accent then de homem christo.

  • I MISS THE 90s :(

  • 1:43-2:37 Catchiest stuff I ever heard

  • This track is so damn funky.

  • this sounds like it should go on discovery, and this is yearrrrrrrrs before

  • I thought this was a saxophone, but it's actually a snipped-off bit of a jazz-guitar solo from George Benson. Listening to the original, you would have never known this came from it. It's a genious use of sampling.

Thomas Bangalter definitely has a gift hearing things in music most people wouldn't have.

  • CHOOOOOOOOOOONE! i love the bit where Monica Bellucci dances to this in Irreversible!

  • @flotarescaer_ estoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ♥

  • Half the Daft, all the Punk. Awesome track.

  • they both do the lyrics for several tracks. Around the world, Something about us etc

  • beautiful

  • Wow this was way ahead of its time.

  • woo nice love this at the mo too!

    /watch?v=7CgGuiYty-U

  • Dude, this is amazing. Where can I find this? itunes is a bitch and wont let me find it!

  • @DasHinchen

This track is part of Irreversible's soundtrack entirely made by Bangalter ;)

  • still genius after all this time. Man I wish I still had my vinyl collection.

  • I cant believe I had this on vinyl and gave it away years ago ... what a muppet.

  • Released in 2002 for Irreversible soundtrack

  • @orche80 And first released in 1996 on Thomas's label " Roulé " :)

  • 15 years old still...and still brilliant as ever

  • As a HUGE Daft Punk fan, i want to say that Thomas and Guy did the vocals on on discovery. Besides One More Time. That was all romanthony. But yea. They sing. So now that i've cleared that up.........THIS SONG IS GREATNESS!!!!!!!!!

  • if you listen closley you can hear some synths that sound similar to phoenix

  • thomas dose the sampling and guyman dose the singing and synthesis

  • @lmalcott1 Nope, neither do the singing. They both do equal work on the mixing though.

  • @Tyler11440

    On Discovery:

Digital Love + Something About Us - Vocals performed by Daft Punk.

    Explain....

  • @ThomD1888 They have very heavy french accents, you saw this on the actual discovery album cover?

  • @Tyler11440 Yeah, I've got it on vinyl and beside all the lyrics it says so...

  • @Tyler11440 Yes, they are credited as doing the vocals. They're vocodered vocals, which can take away some of the accent, and leave their voices unrecognizable when compared to their own.

  • @Tyler11440 Yes it's in the booklet, and they did sing a lot of the songs. Only 'Too Long' and 'One More Time' got vocals from Romanthony, and 'Face to Face' by Todd Edwards, the others are by Daft Punk themselves.

  • @ThomD1888 I think the guy that sings for daft punk is Romanthony. He made a remix of one more time and it was 99% vocals and is no doubt the same voice.

  • @ElMrTaty Yeah romanthony did a lot of their vocals

  • @Tyler11440

But Romanthony is credited when singing, the guy singing on 'Digital love' and 'Something about us' is actually Thomas Bangalter ;)

  • @Tyler11440 On my album cover it says that Manuel did the singing in digital love

  • @Tyler11440 but it is Thomas who does the singing for Something about us and digital love and hbfs. Romanthy is credited for 2 songs, One more time and Too Long.

  • @Tyler11440 Dear lord, it says all of this pretty clearly on the back of the Discovery vinyl.

  • @Tyler11440 I have a picture of the back of the album if you want to see it.

  • @ElMrTaty Romanthony only did One More Time and Too Long, Todd Edwards did Face to Face, and every other vocal song by Daft Punk was done by Daft Punk.

  • @ThomD1888 Ehm, TALKBOX, man!! They found a really good sound and talkboxed / vocoded it.

  • @ThomD1888 Yeah, and if lower the pitch to Technologic, you can hear a very clear French accented male saying the words. I think one of them also do vocals. It isn't that hard to talk into a vocoder or talk box :P so I agree

  • @ThomD1888 they dont sing those songs they wrote them but other people sing them

  • Sounds like a 70's porn track but scratched up! =)

  • @lurdab81 have you seen Irreversible? it kinda fits. this was used as some of the score to it.

  • I wuz born in 1996

  • Endless loop! lol that's what house music is based on! lol loop loopppppp loooooooooooops

  • Now we now how Daft Punk did Rollin' & Scratchin' and Rock'n Roll, Thomas Bangalter did more of the song on Rollin' & Scratchin' and Rock'n Roll

  • @gtaretroz Yeah you can tell a lot of the stuff on homework was bangalters, but guy man did most of around the world, you can tell by "Holiday on Ice"

  • @Tyler11440 yeah man, you are right, and Guy-Man did too Teachers, High Fidelity, Daftendirekt, WDPK 83.7 FM, Fresh, and that's it

  • @Tyler11440 guy-man did more of it on discovery, but near the end of too long, you can kind of here some t-bang there.

  • if anyone wants to download his music download the u torrent downloader and go to google and type thomas bangalter torrent and there you go this works for all music so type in what you want and put torrent after it. Dont use limewire cause it gives your computer viruses. enjoy!!!!!!!XD

  • I love it too, you can easily get it via youtube downloaders :)

  • wow i like the Drum HiHat sound at 1:06 - 1:13... i could try doing a # min practice on that...

  • yea dude now that i think about it, it sounds pretty cool. This song was made completely out of samples from george benson-the world is a ghetto. Its kind of a jazz like song, thomas is lucky he found those samples in there. Jazz usually has quieter drums :)

  • every time i hear this song and thats 20 times per day i rate it full!!xDD

  • its pretty cool of u to say what the sample is, this song IS awersome!!!!

  • i had to hunt it down but i found it :) its little cuts of the song, pitch raised and stuff

  • phat tune right here. :D

  • its good

  • spinal scratch wasn't made by daft punk, it was made by thomas bangalter, one of the robots of daft punk. the other robot, guy-manuel, didn't really have anything to do with this track.

  • yeah i know but hes still in daft punk, just guy man didnt help

  • yea but at this time he wast a daft punk it was thomas bangalters side projects

  • Man this is a sick beat, I wish I'd hear this more often.

  • yes it really is, its also very creative sampling since it came from a jazz song. the beeping sound you hear is a guitar sampled from george benson-the world is a ghetto

  • im dancing :)
