  • great techniques! Some elements similar for aikido. Thank you for nice vid.

  • Good ninpo !! This is the real deal. Nobody should speak negatively of techniques or styles untill they have trained in them. Thanks for posting this video.

  • EEEAAAAYY TA HAAAAA SA

  • This wannabe MMA fighters punks have no respect to the martial arts and what it represents! Martial arts it's not about kicking somebodys ass, it's about a way of life and avoiding confrontation! Competing is diferent from fighting!

  • This man has excellent chi-flowing through him. Also he is truly dedicated to this art of self defense. Bro. Ellis

  • Dude, no doubt you have some of the SICKEST ninjutsu vids on youtube.

  • omfgg i bow to you sensei...

if i may ask,how many dan you have?

  • @canadianboy1314 every art has something to offer. Take and learn what you can and make them all work for you.

  • @SuubUrbanNinja that sounds like JKD philosophy :D

  • thats crap, in a real fight I would beat them to a pulp, I have extreme hit resistance and determination to win thats why I've never lost a fight

  • @immortalchild16 Thats good, but no one is invincible. Just keep a level head .

  • @SuubUrbanNinja I love these Youtube warrirors! They always win!!!

  • @SuubUrbanNinja Gotta love the Youtube warriors who have always won everything, everywhere, and at all times!!! Guess the concept of "You never know whom you're going to run into" has not dawned on some people yet!

  • @immortalchild16 ive never seen a fight that has brought eternal peace. the greatest battels won are the ones that you cannot fight out. i find more pleasure in intercepting thier attacks and turning into a funny pose or get them to submit. violent use brings violent plans. one day you will grow to know that

  • @immortalchild16 that's why your in for a rude awakening!

  • @immortalchild16 good for you. there are some targets on the human body that can never be conditioned no matter how hard you try. Its unwise to close yourself of to wisdom someone else is shairing. even if you already now a technique it never hurts to lern how people from diferent styles use that technique and how they view it. As they say - "knowlege is power"

  • @immortalchild16 :D:D:D extreme hit resistance ? one punch to the neck and you´re dead man.

  • Omg that was very good

  • Sick!!!!

  • Hi i have a question sensei i am a 15 year old boy and im interested in ninjutsu and i want to practice it but i have a friend that practices kenpo and he says that its an exellente martial art and exellent self defense(and i want to learn self defense). So my question whats better ninjutsu or kenpo

  • Great entrances. Awesome distractions to the face and head. Really good stuff. I like this a lot.

  • "Came here... Went across his eyes." Love it.

  • Looks like a guy of streetfighter

  • It's rarely seen.. A person which can move in perfect structure, like this Master.

    Thank you for this video.

  • Damn, Shaved head, wise-man's beard coupled with a taekwondo top and hakama looks badass! haha...Great demo btw!

  • This guy is goood!

  • i went to that school in brooklyn before and i think its the best school i ever went to

i wish they could expand and have more locations i would still be there if i still lived in the city

  • Some serious moves here

  • Are you alright?

    Now you are no!

    Are you alright?

    I am not !

Do you see it ? Nope only felt the pain !O man that`s cool words

  • Thank u masta Karim. I will take ya lessons wisely.

  • very clever i love it but sometimes this student just throwing himself to ground the master is exxelent still

  • You guys teach some great stuff, not too unlike my kung fu style. I like the way the techniques are broken down. The students here will, with practice become (or are already) dangerous street fighters! Keep up the great work guys. God bless!

  • Reminds me of the days of my tournaments. Any of you guys familiar with Master Moses Powell, Sugar Ru his student and Professor V?

  • SuubUrbanNinja: Reminds me of the days of Professor V, Master Moses Powell and student Sugar Ru. I was in tournaments back those days and it times where great in the 70's, and 80's.

  • martial arts classes should be practiced in blue jeans and a tea shirt, because in real life your not really going to be dressed in your robe uniforms. I'm 13 years old and am a black belt in tae kwon do and baggy pants make you look faster then you really are.

  • That's what a 13 year old punk will say... Its all come down to basic... 13 years old that's mean 3 years as a martial artist... ;) Its takes forever to understand martial boy... :) Martial is learn until your last breath... so boy!!! may you wear a towel or an underwear when you got attack the best thing to do is run, avoid confrontation. :) eventhough you're a 10 dan martial artist, i'm a retired black belt Karate Professional, and fought in Many countries, best thing is to avoid trouble..

  • @kelvinhenry9 well ninjitsu allows you to do just that....is simply a method of disabling the attacker.

  • @roger5845 Spoken like a true 13 year old 'black belt'.

  • thats a fair enough statement, but you shouldnt say that this is the only way to go. Some people have strong ties to tradition, and for them its more a heritage than a self defence. There is no one right way to do anything, only what is best suited to yourself. I also prefer baggy but light cargos, as this is what i usually wear, but other people may not. All Im saying is keep an open mind, dont be so dogmatic or ritualistic in your practice :D

  • @roger5845 A Black Belt at 13years old?

Typical Tae Kwon Do corrupted school.

In real life not everyone is going to be dressed in Blue Jeans or T-shirt.

So if your martial arts depends heavily on what type of clothes they're wearing. Then perhaps you should be doing something else.

  • @roger5845 I honestly can't remember knowing anyone who did Tae Kwon Do and wasn't a black belt. I think that says something.

  • Is this on a DVD series?! You gotta let me know! By FAR one of my favorite techniques.

  • Is this from a DVD series?! This is crazy!! You gotta let me know!!!

  • This was from a seminar, but not on dvd series.

  • this technic is perform by Shihan Askia Umrani ,Dojo in Atlanta Ga. Westend. God willing I will put out more demo's in near future.

  • Do you know any dojos around oklahoma because I really want to get into aikido or ninjutsu and the only one's around this area are commercial mma crap.

  • does anyone know where this dojo is?

  • This was from a seminar, But The dojo is in Brooklyn,Ny

  • how does that face shock thing work?? Does it actually stun them?

  • It's more of a distraction technique.

  • The shock is from the fingers being flicked across the eyes.

  • you flick at theeir eye which shocks them

  • Well, the mess that is ninjutsu has nicked techniques that work from quite a few places.

I like the way the guy moves; nice sense of fun.

  • Well, if it works use it.

  • beautiful technique, i encountered this typ of face distraction for the first time recently and its no joke having things flying twoards your eyes is not fun and your body tends to react on its own so keeping your center is pretty much impossible either you fail or get your eyes gouged lol ty great video

  • I agree, some nice things .... but where is ninjutsu in this please ? The freezs ??? Little bit light Mmm'kay...^^

  • The face distractions is clear deceptive techniques.

  • i did a technique similar to this during my silat competition. My opponent was like twice the size of me. I think this technique is good as it buys you some time to attack the opponents vital targets.

  • What? is that Ninjutsu? That first block was kung fu(bagua I believe), as well as that slash on the eyes. That way of moving at 0:46 was Bagua as well.

Did he study Bagua Zhang? And issn't his GI a taekwondo Dobok?

  • Many arts have similar moves, or maybe he has studied different arts and thus when he moves what he knows mixes.

And he says that TKD top is comfortable so that why he wore it has nothing to do with the style it self. Notice he is also wearing Japanese hakama.

  • I was not criticizing. I was just noticing what I was seeing. It was definitely BaguaZhang, Ninjutsu has no blocks like that.

He did do a axe kick, so he trained in Taekwondo for a while?

Oh right the Hakama, diddnt notice that.

  • I don't know, the title says ninjutsu, but I know some of that is aiki stuff

  • aho...

its all about the moves they try to teach us something its not fatal to use a few moves not related to ninjutsu

  • the only ninjutsu i saw was in one of the arm wraps but that was definitely Hsing-I for the most part with some PaKua movements as well

  • i'm just learning aikido. this is a great vid. thx for posting. i'm a police officer and this is very useful. grace and peace

  • aikido is very effective, too.

But ninjutsu is more like the stealthy way.

  • hmmm aikido seems to be more of a meditative martial art instead of one usable in a fight.... dont take it though so i cant honestly say, my ninjutsu classes shares the dojo with an aikido instructor.

  • I think that your opinion is a little bit wrong, yes AiKiDó is an spiritual art too, but the slow motions are for learning, slow video is teaching people do right all the motion, Aikidó is very technical, it need accuracy as well. Fast "real" Aikido isn't good for videos, people don't espy the technique in fast motion,.. thats all, Aikido is very effective, believe me.

  • @sk8wise12 That all depends on how the aikido is taught, which is the same for many martial arts. Plenty of schools do not conduct their 'self-defense classes' in a practical manner. You have to eventually add some realism to the equation.. freestyle simulated attacking.

  • Man! my Sensei is nice!

  • efective techniques

  • I'd love to join your crew and learn the ways of your fighting :)

  • Sensei Askia Umrani.

    he taught me ninjitsu for

    about a year.

    very good teacher..

i can basically do what he is doing..

very good at what he do.

  • excuse me can i ask where did you train ninjitsu ? im living from japan at Shizuoka ken any help would be much appreciated

  • I love this guy's techniques! awesome display of stealth

  • poor uke

  • Nice blind strike on the 1st technique.

  • good vid , many thanks

  • I've been involve in Ninjutsu and other Budo for 41 years to date.

  • Master Karim....Welcome from North Wales UK I must say that i do like yor blend of ninjutsu ,its is no doubt very effective. How long have you trained in Ninjutsu and do you bring aspects of other arts (say Gung Fu related re. the eye strikes in this vid)

I have visited many schools in the UK regards Ninpo ,but none seem to have the energy. This seems more AikiJuJutsu essence to it , more like what I think the Soke Fujita may have been like( or Takamatsu for that matter).wiil be purchasing soon !

  • Welcome back at you, yes there is a blend, when you study Ninjutsu concepts and principles they encourage blending and adapting to the times. Soke Fujita studied other Bu dos. I seen Tanemura Sensei in his video doing Pa Qua Chang. I read where Hatsumi Sensei is encouraging mixing. All Budo have evolve one way or another, that's why we have Jujitsu, Aikijutsu, Aikido, Kempo, Karate and Judo, etc. The evolution and exploration of Budo knowledge has not stop with the Bushi Masters It just started.

  • Thanks Master for your explanation. May I ask what is different between Aikido, Aikijujutsu and Ninjutsu? What I have seen that Aikido&Aikijujutsu has more grappling/ground techniques and Ninjustu has that plus Kicking techniques and using weapon. Actually, Aikido&Akijujutsu is softer (without weapons and kicking) and using to show you can fight but you want only protect yourself. And Ninjutsu more killing techniques for real fight. Am I understand good? Am crazy about old sports and study them.

  • his is not rudement its just curiousity , why cant onen of these people out ther ejoin ufc and show what ninjutsu and all that is about..? its kind of redundant to see a teacher and his students do fancy stuff sometimes.

  • Join UFC for what? This is self defense not cage fighting competition. Self defense involves a whole different way of thinking and training. Our system has shown whats its about numerous times where it counts on the street in robbery attempts, muggings, jumpings even Prison Guards in NYC prisons testify to the truth of our systems. We dont need to prove it, it has proven it self.

  • well these systems were made for battle field not only for self deffence its a reality , it should be able to use in any situation or competition.

  • In the early UFC there was a Ninjutsu fighter named Steve jennum. He won his both his matches.I think it was UFC 4 and 5. But fighting doesnt really prove or disprove a system. One lucky shot and your knocked out, does that mean the style failed or you just got caught with a good punch? Its really the individual practitioner and his or her ability that matters.

  • There was a TooShinDo Ninjutsu fighter who also won his matches in MMA. I forgot his name.

  • i love it how he keeps asking him is he ok after every time he hit him lol. The master in this video is very fast and his demonstrations aren't a mock drill but very real with intent for them to strike him. I kinda wish i was able to go to this school/acad or w/e to train

  • dakhan, you need to watch your derogatory language, this kind of language added to your comment is not welcome here.

  • I love this video,The Master is so damn fast. Great editing as well It made it easier to actually see what happened. Five Stars and favorited.

  • its nice to see brothers like myself performing ninjutsu well. When I fight someone there I get into an unconventional stance that doesn't look like anything,so most people don't know what martial art i practice.

  • ninjutsu and aikido and japanese martial arts of that kind are not easy to know what they do really.. the only other ma japanese ones that are more obvous are the sporting ones such as karate and judo or sumo.

  • This looks cool!

  • LOL it's so hard to see how he actually does it, because he's so quick! It's like someone's fast-forwarding him!

  • All these moves are badass! Ninjutsu for the win!

  • Truth will alway prevail.

  • Agreed.

  • I just recently read that the "original" scrolls were burned in a fire also kempobrad and that Dr. Hatsumi had copied some of them and others he reproduced from memory. Hmmm@!

  • aajcem, where can I go to read about the srolls being burned.

  • What's the name of the sensei?

He seems pretty kool & good

    Wich city also?

  • That's some impressive stuff...what state/city do you train in?

  • wow shocken to watch it but good

  • The character of true Budo is to be able to have a civil discussion without attacking each other teachers. Teachers are a special breed, they dedicate their life in guiding us in the right direction. Senseis sacrifice their time, life and families to teach us how to survive, that why we respect them no matter what system they teach or who they are. Remember the Sensei you attack(Professor Duncan)has over a half of century of presentation in the martial art world.

  • Martial art is just like any other science, it has evolve from one period time to another, while the present of scrolls and lineage has merit it doesn't cover the whole martial art world. focusing on the prestige of scrolls and lineage will disrupt and delay your ability to advance at this stage of your training. Stay focus and allow yourself to develop.

  • I apologize if I seem close minded. I won't have a heated argument with you because I don't do that. I hope we can discuss the arts we both love in a calm manner. First,I'll talk about Duncan. I've heard his students can fight effectively. Its just that he never has shown any scrolls or told anyone who his teacher was. And Kawakami is from Iga according to his website. Also I've seen bujinkult's videos, but not ALL Buj schools are scamming. Look up "kashiwa bujinkan ninjutsu REAL martial arts".

  • Its no problem. I have found that Hatsumi has not shown any scrolls either. Kawakami maybe from iga but he says he 21st soke of a form of Koga ryu regardless, and as far as I know there is no dispute about that. And Duncan never claimed to be the inheriter and Soke of koga ryu so there is no need for him to show scrolls. Hayes , and Bussey are not sokes of Bujinkan and were not given any scrolls but yet they have taught bujinkan. High ranking students dont need the scrolls to teach.

  • High ranking students just need permission from their Sensei to teach. The scrolls are given to the one chosen to be the soke of the system after the Master, but that doesnt mean that other high ranking students who have become sensei's are not legit. If you visit Duncans website he names his teachers there.

  • from what i've heard Hatsumi shows the scrolls, but won't let anyone carbon date them for real proof. something about the originals being burned in a fire.

  • Koga never died. There are books from the past that mention the techniques of the koga. Even today in Japan, Jinichi kawakami is accepted and acknowledge as 21st soke of Koga from a different line other than Fujita. The frauds are the marketing schemers of other so called real ninjutsu schools who misinformed you that Koga died with one man. I find it interesting that at 1st you say good techniques, then you became negative when you find we are connected to Master Duncan. A Clear Bias exposed!

  • Ninpo4life,you are only 13, you haven't even begin your life, wisdom comes with age and experience, humility is a virtual.Knowledge is a lost and found property for those who seek to claim it,The Almighty is the source of all knowledge, man is the recipient.Avoid prejudice and close mindedness,in order to make yourself available for universal knowledge that exist for your development.

  • Good techniques. What school are you guys from? It looks kind of Bujinkanish, but the postures are very different. Jinenkan, maybe? I don't know. Thanks!

    ninpo4life

  • I suggest you see the videos done by bujinkult if your interested in what true fraud is.

  • fookin nice...feel bad for his student tho =)

  • nice video

  • wat school is this, its not bujinkan right? looks good. and that sensei looks like a kimbo slice that can actually fight, and badass beard btw

  • What a good technique..Real sensei here !

  • his doing nerve strikes and it temporalley paralezez the body

  • Nice technique..

    Mean Sensei...

  • no, it works ^^

  • can you tell me what you are doing to frezze him and how or where to go to learn it

  • Wow, that's a pretty good demonstration of using the centreline and slight changes of angle to create efficient movements!

  • bad mofo.

  • Dammm its amazing

  • dang hes savage

  • Beutiful

  • 2:31-2:38

  • i like studying martial arts, but i have to say that when it comes right down to it, the best way to defeat someone is with a gun. If you doubt that have you ever seen a person dodge a bullet when it was flying straight for his head? no, i didn't think so.

  • This is GREAT instruction! Guns generally are not acceptable at this level of Self Defense. Trained/ licensed Gun owners know this fact. If your assailant ups the ante with a weapon THEN your training must dictate how you will respond and with WHAT. The "Door" technique works VERY well. If there is a "Door" run for it, so you don't have to use the gun. Train Hard, Fight Easy. Shalom!

  • Common sense, guns almost always win, because they're cheap. Except one thing, guns need ammo, unless you throw the gun itself. That's why we learn hand-to-hand melee self defense, in case you don't have a projectile weapon (or gun).

  • the guy w/ the beard is obviously a shihan, thats why hes so swift and elegant, and is obviously a older shihan so he has had at least 20 years of ninjutsu training. ( only reason i know is b/c my sensai is also a shihan at our dojo but he is also 7th dan in shotokan karate, (he knows some other stuff too but i never remember)

  • you're right...i've trained with the dude getting his butt kicked. he's a third degree black belt himself. the man with the beard is his teacher.

  • This guy is pretty good

  • i wonna see this brother in a movie mane?!!!!!

  • Wow, his attacks are swift, effective and even slightly elegant.

  • "you ok?" "...no"

  • nice.

    very reactive.

    great blend.

  • This is really good! I like the techniques shown. Wish I could train under this instructor in the UK. What style of Ninjutsu is this? At the moment, I'm currently looking for a Bujinkan dojo in west or Central London as I studied it 9 years ago and desperately want to start again as I have sorted out my other commitments I had.

  • My buddy and I train at Stephen K. Hayes dojo here in Dayton, Oh. It's a real honor, we train under Sensei Norris. Hopefully we can get high enough to get to training with Sensei Hayes himself.

  • Norris? Like... Chuck?

  • Y'OK? ::stamp:: now you're not hehehehehe nice moves, interesting to see some of the distraction/confusion techniques

  • Test

  • Nice ! But Takamatsu would not have such a beard. That is what he said to Ueshiba...

    Impressive, thanks

  • Very good technique, vicious and quick.

  • Nice ! But Takamatsu would not have such a beard. That's what he said to Ueshiba...

    Nevertheless, impressive.

    Thanks

  • Sensei Askia I'm so happy to see you representing true Koga Ryu Ninjitsu as taugh from O Sensei Professor Ronald Duncan & Master Ali Abdul Karim... Ous! see you soon on the mat. Chris Muhammad

  • is the master muslim?

  • Alhamduillah yes,and the reason you ask ?

  • Useful techniques where your attacker is threatening you with deadly force. Maybe not so good if someone tries to slap you because you have spilled their pint down the local pub - it might be difficult to explain why their face is scratched to bits! ;OP

  • Inspiring!

  • that shows dont figth whit a ninja

  • Usually any style not used in the UFC or K1 gets a bad rep these days, but as a Muay Thai and Boxing practitioner, I was extremely impressed by this demonstration. I'd love a chance to train with the instructor on this video

  • great stuff...

  • i like that the video is in fast pace so i can see it in real time. thx

  • not that it makes a difference, but what style of ninjutsu is shown here? i've been practicing bujinkan budo taijutsu for halve a year now, and been addicted ever sinds, i have seen lots of vid's online, but not one is like this.

now its stupid to assume that you know anything about ninjutsu if you have been a student for such a short time.

so I'm just wondering, do i see some kung fu elements incorporated in those arm movements? or is this just advanced stuff. am i mistaken? (i assume i am)

  • he scares me he luks ryt hard, i bet they do those repeatedly till theyr worn out so tht they can just use them like BAM! in a fight lol

  • Excellent stuff!!!! Seems a little like American Kenpo.

  • well theres no such thing as any american martial art but yeah i know what u mean

  • very nice gentlemen thank you for sharing your awesome techniques 5+ stars

  • quertical at 01:31 the enemy is confused on the floor and then his eyes could be attacked several times..

I love this reactive style, so quick and elegant and very effective.

  • Very nice simple and vicious..

One of the best fighters ive seen..

    Thanks for the demo.

  • very awesome...tnx...

  • wow. I like how the demonstrations are at an almost completely realistic pace its the only way to effectively learn the effects. I'm really impressed

  • Nice video, good teacher.

  • What 's the name of the teacher please?

  • Shihan Askia Umrani. Star and Crescent star of essential knowledge located in Atlanta Ga. via Brooklyn N.Y. and than for your positive comments

  • Technique 6 is interesting because the opponent's punch is not blocked, but simply evaded. The counterstrike is delivered at almost the same time as the opponent punches and moves forward. All movements are fluid and extremely rapid.

  • lol can you please tell me what the heck is going on at 01:31 ??

  • Proberbly to show the students different ways he could finish it - Places open to attack..

  • he's rolling bro... rollin' some serious moves for his hood

  • A very good demonstration. I think its erfectly clear what technique 6 demonstrates.

  • What is technique #6 intended to demonstrate? Is this a defense against a punch to the midsection?

  • Yes its a midsection punch attack. The instructor is countering with a palm strike to the groin.

  • It is not clear what technique #6 is intended to demonstrate. Is this a defense against a punch to the defender's midsection? Also, is the instructor countering with a closed-fist punch or with an open palm strike?
