What a question!! The idea of this machine is to put foil onto handmade cards and wedding invitations. Having spent time and materials making the card why would I want to crumple it up?
Hi , I have a Konica Minolta Laser copier. It uses toner. This copier can be used ? If the copier is ok , what do i need next ? I have pouch laminator. can be use for this ? White card 210 gms paper ok ? Toner Foil from you ? please help. thank you . Do you ship to South East Asia ?
Most papers which will go through your laser printer should be suitable for foiling. If you would like us to test a particular paper you could send us some printed samples to try. An iron is unlikely to give a good result.
can you tell me what am i doing wrong every time i put the foil on my laser printed ribbon and put it thrue the machine the foil ends up in the blank part of it too please help

Although I have never used ribbon througj this machine, I suspect you are using the wrong type of foil. It has to toner foil which will stick only to the print. Other foils have glue on the back and this would be released with the heat and stick to places other than the print.
This is not the same as hot stamping foil. The foil used is called toner foil and works with the printed image or text from a laser printer. The laser toner melts when put through the foiling machine and this acts as the "glue" if you like.
Sorry I don't understand but I am guessing you are asking about sales to Brazil - if so the answer is no - we do not ship to Brazil and the machine probably works on a different voltage anyway.
most laser printers are suitable but if you contact me direct by email (pat@patsymay.co.uk) I can send you a list of printers which we compiled by doing a customer survey.
This is using special Toner Foil which sticks to the printed image from a laser printer. Not sure what you have available in the "dollar" store but it is unlikely to be the right kind of foil.
Nice one! I have a question.... you have here a white background. What if you have a colourful background, but you don't want to make it glossy. You just want to apply the foil for the text only. Is it possible to make it? thanks for reply
I'm sorry it took so long to reply, But I don't log into this e-mail very often.
The paper does not have to be ultra smooth and you can use different kinds of paper and card even some textured cards but it could mean trying different types

This system needs the paper or card to go through a laser printer. It will not work on leather.

what kind of FOIL do u use?..i think its not the same as the ordinary foil u can buy in any school n office supply stores...

It must be toner foil for use with this machine. The images must be printed on a laser printer and the foil sticks to the toner.

what is the glittery material called??? i would like to get some of that....where can i get it? is it available at stationary shop??
KimKhoo 1 year ago
The foil only sticks to the toner.
So if you use a ink jet printer then pass it through a laser printer the foil will stick to the toner ad not to the ink
