Yeah, as AMV Head, I had figured that this might win, it was such a good combination.

But to tell you the truth, during judging, the other judges deducted points because the lip-synch was off. If you can master that area, you are set for gold!!

I did love it tho! Thats why I had to let the audience see it, too good not to see!

Yeah, I know there's a couple sections with that problem (the scene with Scar, Al, the old man and the kid all in the car, and the bit with Izumi come straight to mind). I was running short of time and I couldn't figure out how to contend with the fact that the backgrounds are in motion. Would you know a way?

Well, it depends on what you use for your video production. I use Premiere, so I have a multitude of layers to use.

What I do is take the scene with movement and place that on the bottom, making sure to repeat it over and such so that the continuity looks good.

Then I take a capture of each mouth movement

Placing that over the movement video, I crop the picture down to just the mouth or the top half of the scene, depends on the movement.

Then just lip-synch with the captures, cropping each one
