  • This vid stays on my replay list. Great job. :-)

  • @theocratickingdom30 Awesome brother! It was actually put together by some people at one of our siste churches. Thanks though.

  • i play drums in a worship band, but id have no problem if i turned up and the things were burned to the ground (as much as i "like" playing).. so the emphasis was back on Holyiness , the Word and prayer and fellowship. Our worship band was at one point like a little secret society that almost destroyed a 350 year old church. Its turned me off my "denomination" and though we critisize others who use icons creeds in worship so on, it is all done in complete soberness, yeah im confused :S

  • @BeauG92

As much as I'd like to explain the your warped perspective about the Old Testament in light of the New Testament I'm affraid that I would be casting pearls to a huge swine and I'd be giving what is holy to a dog because you like all unbelievers would trample it just like Jesus said you would. At least you acknowledge that Lev.18 is talking about filthy sodomites. Read Romans 1 & 1Cor.6:9 because they talk you too.

  • @gtrjunky Didnt he save you for good works? of which not everyone whos says "Lord, Lord"

look, you were once lost , be a bit more understanding....God choose you, you didnt choose him.. you are confused about your role in salvation, you have no role, neither does Beau, if God chooses he will wake up one day completely changed so dont go driving people away... "For land that has drunk the rain" your in more danger than him and near to being cursed. Do not judge outsiders, Gods job.

  • @Jesusisthetreeoflife What is your point with the things that you keep saying to me?

  • @gtrjunky dunno, sorry.. maybe just trying to make a friend

  • @Jesusisthetreeoflife I don't have a problem being your friend, it's just that the things that you have been saying have been confusing, that's all. I wasn't sure what you were getting at or if you had some particular message that you were trying to convey. I meant no offense to you.

  • @BeauG92

"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites," ~ 1Cor.6:9

    That about sums it up!

  • @BeauG92 Nice try with the OT theocracy, that just shows that you don't know your fithyl little morally depraved rear end from a hole in the ground. You really need to keep your commenting over on the immoral end of YT and talk with the other depraved people like you. Go get you teaching from the transvestites and other evil doers like you.

  • @SwordofManticorE: Irrelevant when it comes to the context of the video.

  • Excellent video friend! A related question people often get wrong is WHAT is worship? People often assume it is the bit done on Sundays at their local church which means singing. That's far too small an understanding of worship. Worship means trusting, obeying, loving and following Him every moment of every day. Rom12.1. Worship is about the attitude of our hearts.

  • @john17v17 Thanks brother! I agree, worship is all of the time.

  • The church I used to attend (an AoG church) patterns their worship for the youth. And that is according to their own words. They admit the youth doesn't like substantive music so they sing fluff. Very sad. Worship is about Christ and adoring Him. It is not for our entertainment. Sure we all have certain styles that appeal to us, but in the end it should be about Christ.

  • @theocratickingdom30 Since the Lord has illuminated Himself more to me, I can't tolerate shallow music anymore. I used to listen to all of the contemporary stuff but not anymore. Most of it is crap.

  • @gtrjunky: Crap is the correct term. Although that may be an insult to poo. :-)

  • @theocratickingdom30 I think there has been a growing trend for 'worship' songs to contain words that are unhelpful, misleading, or plain theologically wrong. I think this is a reflection of a bigger problem, which is the way 'evangelicalism' has largely rejected the orthodox understanding of Doctrine of Scripture. When people have a wrong understanding of the Bible, the words they put to their songs are going to reflect that. Still, there are some gospel faithful good song-writers today.

  • @john17v17: You are correct. Modern evangelicalism is more about the emotions than the intellect. The problem is that Holy Writ teaches both. It teaches the supremacy of the heart as well as the mind. Without the intellect we are passionante in worship but don't know why. Without the heart we are knowledge but cold and lifeless.

  • @theocratickingdom30 Kids need Christology not music, Christology points to God, music will point to music....Worship is how you life "this is your spiritual act of worship" St. Paul says about repenting. Not just that but worldy music is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS
