My husband does this to all our kids, they get such a buzz out of it :) Griffin certainly thinks its entertaining by the big smiles he's showing off :)
My aunt recently visited Peru and told me she noticed mothers there doing a similar thing with their babies. After changing them or setting them down for some reason, they'd wrap them in the traditional manta carrier cloth and flip them onto their backs over their shoulder.
LOL....the things that make our kids laugh. We have a few stairs that go to the play room and there is a queen mattress right next to them....my two and four year olds LOVE to flip off the stairs (maybe 2 feet off the floor and a foot from the mattress) on to the mattress. They know it scares the daylights out of me, and that makes it all the more fun!
