  • And after all these years , Randys still lookin hella good !!

  • I've noticed for a long time Randy has been playing that LP custom with the missing neck pup. Where'd he find that beast?

  • The talent is obvious. They started out as a Zeppelin cover band until they created their own music.

  • superbull knows it

  • THAT"S MY UNCLE SINGING TO THIS SONG!!! :D

  • Zebra.....Rush.....Truimph.....Emerson, Lake, and Palmer.....

Four 3-man bands made up of talented musicians that

STILL never receives the credit they deserve, esp. from

the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

  • @superbulldog81

    Yes, you´re right

  • Truly underrated and overlooked band. That's one of the things that sucks about being unique, original and truly f*cking talented on top of it. Common American media doesn't know what to do with it, so they try to bury it. If they can't bury it, they try to ignore it and hope the sheep will follow.

Be a wolf in Zebra's clothing!

  • i saw these guys in the late 70s at great adventure in new jersey they rocked

  • Great band... I'm a little surprised to see Guy playing a single-bass set.

  • @chewbacca0901 He's got double pedals though.

  • Man I love Guy Gelso .....fucking great drummer. VERY underrated. I always thought Guy was the coolest of the 3.

He plays a Sonor Signature Series. The drums are soooooo heavy it's amazing. That 16" Floor tom is like 40 lbs! LOL

    T

  • what a great band!!!!! even though they were from new orleans, they were known as a long island band!!!! i have seen them so many times and they always kick fuckin ass

  • They use to play The Chance in Poughkeepsie all the time, had no idea they were from New Orleans, thought they were from the Island.

  • @jfo1014 They are still rockin in New Orleans, I think I`ll go see um next time they play. Every time I hear them it takes me back to 1983 riding in my 68 camaro havin fun!

  • The early 80's on Long Island, big hair, tons of eyeliner, Camaros, and Zebra at Hammerheads on the week ends. Good times.

  • YES! I saw them a few times years ago, they were so great live.

  • Zebra rocked

  • congrats man -- Go get their first cd from 1983 -- It has on it about 6 very good songs

  • wadayakiddin me?? this is

    ROCK N ROLL

  • Zebra is definitely the most under-rated band in music history. Great music!

  • i had this album when i was a kid.........there was some very well executed good ol' fashioned rock and roll on it.....

you can tell they are seasoned pros who know what they are doing in this performance..........randy jackson has some nice legato on the guitar, very smooth player

  • when the first zebra album came out it was all i listened to for the whole summer (i think summer of 81)all summer long its all i played

  • Yea it was 1981. I grew up with Randy. The played at my prom. Fucking great. My band Matrix used tour with them in 1982. New Orleans is our home. Randy still can sing, can't he. Love them.

  • Wow! Man I saw these guys in the bars in NY, CT 1978. Great then still great. I was showing my son a RUSH vid when I remembered ZEBRA.

  • New Orleans baby!!!!

  • fucking awesome !!!

  • im seeing them this summer! and my mom is introducing them on stage

  • Come see Zebra at the St. Cletus Oyster Festival on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 8 p.m. 3600 Claire Ave., Gretna, LA 70053. Admission is FREE!!! Come early and bring your appetite, as there will be a huge variety of South Louisiana's favorite foods, draft and bottled beer, wine, daiquiris, and more.

  • will be there

  • I've heard from people in New York, Las Vegas, and Houston saying they'll be there. Does your screen name idicate where you're from?

  • What's up with You-Tube. How come Zebra's 1983 videos are unavailable ? Can someone give me an intellectually honest answer to this question ? Zebra is the best, period.

  • That they are! I remember when Zebra was playing on tables way back when in school gyms. They have always put a great show.

  • OK..just got back from my first ZEBRA concert in Lafayette LA. They were a 100% more powerful than I expected..Felix Hanneman is the shit on bass !

  • they sound great here. excellent!!!

  • They are playing TONIGHT in lafayette, LA. I love this band so much. Have seen them almost 30 times. Guy Gelso is my favorite drummer ever. Is my inspiration to keep rockin'. He is the best.

  • Tonight in Lafayette LA ! I remember the radio promos back in the 80's for their shows in Louisiana..the guy had a deep raspy voice as he would say "Louisiana..your band is comin' home"...cool memories. We are very proud of Zebra in Cajun country.

  • These guys were/are so talented, but the idiodic, self-absorbed music industry has robbed the world of their gift.

  • Tomorrow night at BB King's here in NYC!!! I can't wait.

  • IT again, big easy on the trees, louise.

  • in the evening world of past's before, text 4EVER. that's where they got it again. kid code etc CYO aka CIA aka the Company you keep. Zebra, dude, we got the best right here. Ask Leno's coffee cup raiser.
