So Arthas was in his citadel all this time taking a nap? He saw Horde and Alliance came there, started killing his minions, taking Ulduar and he just waited? How the hell can they kill Arthas? they are just silly little people, the only reason they can even get to him is cause of the enchanted armours they have, Arthas should have confiscated all the phat loot in Northrend:)

He INTENDED to lure them to Northrend, he knew Tirion Fording would gather the greatest heroes of Azeroth and march towards him, and he intended to defeat them and raise them as powerful masters of the Scourge.

The entire idea of "Wrath of the Lich King" is that the players would follow the footsteeps of Arthas and his journey to evil.

hmm..Arthas is Blizzards ultimate villain in the warcraft games (rts and mmo). When he has been killed a thousand times in wow, he will loose his status. Blizzard is digging their own grave..how can they replace Arthas in the future?

Nightwing? Azshara? The Elemental Lords? Blizzard is developing more villains for release in other expansions, Arthas is just one of the last villains from WC3. When he's gone, the story will move on to someone else.

There's also other heroes such as the Ashbringer. Weapons like shadowmourne, maybe. The Forsaken's plague.

I'm sure there's plenty of ways. For some reason a lot complain it'll be 25 players vs Lich king.

As if there isn't an Ashbringer, other legendary heroes/weapons, and as Uther stated, part of Arthas is still kicking inside the Lich King too. Did i mention uther?

Or maybe there'll be a happy random-stance, where we all magically get along and unite against deathwing, dun dun dunnnn.

lol, when they launched the patch, same day it was totaly chaos.

" Aditional Instance cannot be launchewd" whole the time.

One fun thing was that one of the lowest populated server Bladefist went offline, probaly cuz it was to much ppl online =D
