Just to clarify, it's restricted to 375kmt(233mph) due to the fact of blown tyres. It could easy max out over 400kmt with the engine power, but everything has a limit, and tyres are a pretty big limit.

It's a BIG GAME OVER LIFE, if they fail at highspeed.

Like the Bugatti Veyron witch also have safety restrictions for + 400kmt, again tyre safety, so it stays "cruising" at around 350kmt safe.

It's probably not going to be as expensive as the movie says (2.867.000 USD) in terms of US-dollars, because cars in Denmark are much more expensive than in other countries due to the Danish VAT and taxes, which means it's taxed an additional 180% to its original price. So it probably will be cheaper than 2.867.000 USD (Though I'm not quite sure about the rules, so if I'm mistaking, anyone please correct med)

Yep the Bugatti Veyron is faster but the Zenvo is limited at 375 km/h. It can go faster though.

The Mitsubishi Evo VIII produces 400 bhp with only a two ltr. machine. The Veyron-engine has 7.993ccm (8ltr.)... just one ltr. more than the V8 of the Zenvo. The more pistons, the more friction you have to adjust. Nowadays everybody knows "everything" bout cars, just because they can read the details in magazines or the internet... Hey Sir You dont know about danish car-taxes, they are like 180%, more or less depending on the CO2 emission of the car etc.

SUV's and sports/supercars are in the heavy, expensive league.

Beautiful car. But i don't know why everyone is trying to better the veyron. All Volkswagen did was slap two W8's out of a phaeton together and put 4 turbo's off of and an audi rs6. They could easily make it faster, 1300hp probably just with a re-flash of the computer. I'm not defending the veyron im just saying nothing else could be as good as an every day driver and a supercar better than a veyron does it.

Just to clarify for the ones who doesn't speak Danish, the real price is only Euro 750.000 (US$ 937.500)and thereby less than half price of the slower Koenigsegg CCXR. We have a 180 % car tax in Denmark, the price is mentioned including this tax.

Who knows maybe it's a Christmas offer, I think it is cheap!

Saleen has a built quality like a 100 year old Ford T, being a Danish built product, doubt the Zenvo will be this bad... ;)

It costs much more than the Bugatti Veyron and is slower... If you want an lightweight production car with over 1000 hp, get a CCXR, an S7TTCompetition, or a SSC Ultimate Aero... It sure looks sweet, though!

Actually its not that expensive. The reason they claim it costs 2.867 million dollars in the video, is because, that would be the pricetag in Denmark. Or roughly 16 million in our currency. This means that it would cost about 1.2 mil in the us, give or take. So, its far from being cheap, but its not as expensive as the Veyron. The reason it would cost so much more here than over there, is because of our bullshit tax system that really drains our pockets, whenever we wanna purchase a new car.

A recent study found that Danes are, on average, the most content people in the world... anyway... I'd rather have a Veyron- It is easier to drive and feels more stable at high speed...

Its true that our tax system ensures universal healthcare, and Im also thankful for that. But the thing is, that in Sweden, they have a similar Tax system, but not on cars. Still they have a health care system, that strongly resembles the danish. Besides, it just feels plain rotten, to pay for 3 cars when you´re only buying 1. Furthermore, the value of many cars is deducted by about half, over a period of 3 years. Or roughly 60.000 km / ca 37.000 miles.
