You don't necessarily need to be of Jewish heritage. It just happens to be more prevalent in the Ashkenazi Jew population. Just a note to everyone who is watching this video for a school project (like myself).

What I thought about this video. From wut I saw on this video, it sounded lke, a joke. The way the low voice said, "Tay-Sachs disease." This disease is FATAL, and It is ALWAYS fatal. A SAD and TRAGic disease. U made it seem like a little cold.

Almost all cases of Tay-Sachs today occur in non-jewish people. 1 in 50 Irish carry the gene and it is even more common in the French Canadian. The most common ethnic group is Jewish 1 in 27. In the general population it is 1 in 250. Genetic testing has almost eliminated Tay-sachs cases in the Jewish decent.

I actually didn't have a lot of time to do this project. So the research I did wasn't very accurate. I just wanted to do an animation for the project. I got an A. Thanks for the information though. I'll use it the next time I do a project on Tay Sachs disease.
