longboarding is whatever you make it to be, freestyle is a type of longboarding no matter how many people think otherwise. Personally i like freeride, some people like DH/race and some people like freestyle soo you guys gotta stop hating on them for doing what they love to do.

@arsmo1 Thanks! The Dervish may be a costly "learning " board but if you got the cash then go for it. I really like mine. Loaded also came out with the Tan Tien which may be another option. I am dying to ride it. But I originally learned on an Arbor...

@arsmo1 go for the dervish but the tan tien is a pretty nice board too! @justincustomkickers the tan tien is really nice riding. you can turn 5 times sharper than on the dervish! =D
