  • I thought the movie was a little bit creepy because of the dolls and dolls eyes but other than that it was a different in a positive way.

  • I feel like want to watch again !!

  • I saw this movie in the theaters... IN 3D! IT WAS EPIC! :D

  • @VlogColton yes but i would wonder what the storyline would be.

  • cute song it is like ta theme to when your exploring a cave or dark forest.

  • Do any of you think they should make a Coraline 2?

  • @VlogColton yes that would be good but i dont know what they would do it about x

  • i aak all my friends if theyve seen this and their like "OH! yeah isnt that the stupid weired creepy movie by henry selick?" and im like >:O "how could you..."

  • You should all read the book while listening to the soundtrack -w-

  • Commet below mine yes it does

  • doesn't this play in the beginning when coraline's spy doll gets made?

  • Last summer, my family and I went on vacation to Cape Cod. I had recently recovered an old sock monkey from my childhood and decided to bring it on the trip with me. As I explored our vacation house, it was cold, damp, and dirty, but still beautiful. I went upstairs and found a tiny, locked door in the living room. The monkey doll under my arm, I called, "Hey Dad, where does this door go?" I gasped. I never went back upstairs for the remainder of the trip. True story.

  • @MsSmokingCaterpillar >:[ wish it could happen to me :[ haha, interesting, but still ironic ^^

  • I love this music. Dark, Twisted, Captivating, but so Gorgeous, no one would even care abotu the other things. This and book were so magical and dark. I can't even put into words how deeply loved and entwined I am into the story.

  • Anyone know what language this is in?

  • @JaneBalog It's actually gibberish!

  • @JaneBalog Actually, It's Hungarian. It was preformed by the Children's Choir of Nice and Hungarian Orchestra.

  • @TheOriginalPyrogirl It's not Hungarian...I know because I'm hungarian, too

  • @94SzBea Artist: Bruno Coulais, Laurent Petitgirard, HUNGARIAN Symphony Orchestra Budapest, Christophe Grindel, Choir Of The HUNGARIAN National Radio

  • @xxEmilyxxXD yeah I knew it but the language isn't hungarian

  • @94SzBea

I'm sorry that I was mistaken. After all of the debate I saw on this page, I looked on several different web pages. It is not a real language. It is a made up language using syllable sounds of Chinese, french, German, and others.

    So sorry!

  • @TheOriginalPyrogirl it's okay, and thanks for sharing this information... I didn't know what kind of language it is.. thank you :)

  • yea i got freaked out wen watching this movie O.o

  • the BEST movie since a freakin ass long time!

  • ive also always loved anything with button eyes. i used to draw pictures when i was like 11 with really pretty looking girls that had only button eyes and no mouth.

  • i used to have dreams of people with button eyeswhen i was little. i drew pictures of them on paper that hung on my wallss.... thats way i like coraline so much because it makes me think of my old dreams.

  • 1:25 <--- best part button :P

  • anyone else feels an urge to kick the ass of that Oscars jury who didn't awarded this fantastic film?

  • indianaJonesfans09

After I saw Coraline, i tried to find any kind of doll with button eyes! ☻_☻

  • @colleenroze I made my own ;) just to make sure she wouldn't spy on me... XD

  • After I saw Coraline, I don't want any doll with button eyes. (I only got one and it was a Monster High ragdoll, but it doesn't have real button eyes, so I guess it's OK.)

  • books better than movie, soundtrack beats them both.

  • i thought it was really scary when, later on in the movie, the beldam was humming this.

did anyone wonder what will happen to the beldam when the movie ended?

  • @SuperSolitaireShock I'm assuming the Beldam died, since failing to feed on Coraline caused her/ it to starve ("I'LL DIE WITHOUT YOU!"). Still, I've given thought to maybe writing a fanfic in which the Beldam is brought back from the dead about 4 years after the movie takes place.

  • @Adamguy2003 but remember, the beldam had to wait at least 70 years after eating wybie's great-aunt before coraline came along. she'd probably survive at least 10 years before actually starving. who knows how long she had to wait for the other kids?

she could always just move to a different house when pink palaces get destroyed. the door can't be locked if there is no door to be locked >:p

  • @SuperSolitaireShock Keep in mind how much the house and the rest of the Other world was falling apart in the end. This was because the Beldam had grown so weak from her hunger that she no longer had the energy to sustain it. Losing Coraline ensured that she was doomed.

  • @Adamguy2003 oh yeah! i forgot about that! it makes sense

  • @Adamguy2003 well she was doomed for sure, because the key was thrown into that deep well, so probably she wont have 'visitors' any time soon :D

  • @SuperSolitaireShock I was always curious to whether the Other Mother actually physically eats children or whether she eats their lives (essentially by forcing them to live in a living nightmare until they die).

  • I always think of this song when I feel sleepy

  • Im Listen to You Right Now! Im Watching The Movie On Abc Family (:

  • @thomas4457 i did. it's amazing, and nothing like any other movie i've ever seen, IN MY LIFE!

  • @NeoLightElectro Yeaaah! :DDD It's Wonderful And Undescribable.

Like A Fairytale journal Book (:

  • @thomas4457 i know. ^_^

  • Coraline is a special movie. I don't think I can describe it in any other way.

  • Anything thats as scary as coraline RULES!!!!!

  • this song is so perfect i cant even put it into words

  • @SuperSolitaireShock you actually did it when u said "perfect" ; )

  • "Sinþe tɾetsen misen tɾanau’ā

    Ʒimesuē wepi-jin lizenþin

    In mek famlē lizen jen"

Al āl'ā nanuku: al on'ā Evelēranēl! Daa... *spoku*. Hyet, þē, juno, Evelēranēl zan āl'ā, ēel halan, nātērõ. Halan. Ae makala... makala, Koralīn (yeuē, þēna) wukurun-setdɾ'ā. 'Ēvaku' juno. Ēnē jabrē... ye dīven'ā. Roza... kredetõ kuala-mēna. *spoku manar* ;)

  • I love thism movie SO MUCH!:D

    read the book.

    seen the movieeeee!:D<3

    love her songss!

!:D love everythinn in this moviieee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i LOVE HER!<3

  • Coraline. Pfft..Do you really have to ask? Its not what it seems, and you have to be careful what you wish for..because the Beldam with get you if you're not...The No named cat told us so..because cats don't need names..they don't forget who they are. :3

Bahahahaha! I've read the book, seen the movie a million times..I really love it..

  • @WolfyTheVampire Yep. I've done what you've done in the Coraline world.

  • this song is very mysterious

  • I love Monster House, Corpse Bride, and The Nightmare Before Christmas...but honestly...I think I like Coraline the best....

  • i found a website for this movie :P

  • @nicefunfungirl yeah, and it's called coraline.com LOL

  • Watch mirror mask it's the grown up version of coraline

  • I had no idea it was a book

  • I'd like to give thanks to Henry Selick for directing a magical book into an even more magical movie. I'd also like to thank everybody who took part in this movie to make it magical. Also a big thanks to Bruno Coulais for making this movie have beautiful music that has no english words, but words that make every person who listens to them, predicts differently. And most definately thank you Neil Gaiman for making a story so dark but magical and powerful. Thank you!

  • @dbear851 henry selick and tim burton are very similar i've noticed...both would have done great. people don't talk about henry enough. thanks for congratulating him...i agree with you

  • @MissCureCrazy I think I read somewhere that Tim Burton was too busy to work on The Nightmare Before Christmas because he was also doing the Batman movie, so he hired the same director who did this.

  • @MrFriebomb969 well unlike me some people where not born of horor movies or movies like this unlike me i was and i love this movie and i have a craving for watching it today ;D

  • this movie is not scary at all it.s very imaginative if you ask me and i really don.t see where ppl get these nightmares from cuz this brings me back home you guys are jus babies

  • @MrFirebomb969 The movie isn't scary all that much (maybe a little creeper at times when the Other Mother went through her final transformation into that spider-like creature) but the book definitely had its moments, and I think Neil Gaiman did a terrific job making it creepy, but (at least for me) not to much to the point where it can be classified as a horror book.

  • Me and my dad saw this movie.I loved it so much, that I asked him to buy me the movie. And he did.All these years,I never really loved my dad.He always ignored me,told me my mother didn't want me.A year later,my dad died.Because of my dad's death,I finally realized what this movie was trying to tell us kids. That losing your parent/parents really is more painful than having buttons sewn into your eyes.I found out he lied about my mom 'cause he loved me too much to ever let me go.

  • @lnvaderRobyn I had the same thing with my father, he died on lung cancer a year ago. I know what its like, I'm sorry.

  • This is the same song as "Dreaming" 0.o

  • Amazing movie, but it didn't exactly follow the book. But I love both, anyway. The soundtrack is equally magical. :D

  • kids get easier and easier to scare and amuse......and how was this movie creepy?! its so eefffiiinnn adowable :3

  • A movie for children over 6 year old age, I think this movie should be for over 18 year old people, because this is completely a horror movie.

  • @ricardoxot 18?Don't you think that's TOO old?It should atleast be rated pg 13.

  • @ricardoxot Coraline is a horror movie for kids.I'm an adult now - 20 years old.I saw Coraline, when I was 18 and it still managed to give me nightmares.

  • @SnitchSeeker there was absolutely nothing scary about this movie

  • @BubonicDoctor Well,I suffer (and not so much) from an overproductive imagination,so the abstracted concept of the movie came out as really scary to me.I could also relate to Coraline a lot on a personal level, making the whole movie even more surreal to watch.

  • @BubonicDoctor i know right and i'm 12

  • @FallenAngel5613 you're never too old to read Coraline :)

  • Coraline is prett

  • my dance camp did a dance to this number it was really cool. there was a little girl and then she gets "attacked" by "spiders"

  • Is it just me, or do Meachanical Lullaby and Dreaming sound the same?

  • ☻ is a face/smiley, not a button.

  • When the other mother sewed the buttons into the dolls eyes, that's what she wanted to do to the real coraline. It's almost as if the doll was representing what was going to happen to coraline if she wanted to stay. become the other mother's little "puppet" idk, at least that's how i saw it. love this movie!

  • ☻_☻ i wonder if anyone real has button eyes

  • @missbelarae98 A: The face is awesome!! (I want to know how to do that)....B: I have button eyes!! :)

  • @missbelarae98 no one does... just because my father got me about to sew buttons in my brother's eyes

  • I have watched this movie 10 times, at least. I really like it and the soundtrack.

  • 8 people have button eyes. ☻_☻

  • hahaa i love this soundtrack (:

I wonder what Coraline would look like with button eyes......

  • best

  • The movie was more fun than the book, but the book was definetly creepier.

  • @Wafflepal was the book good? was it different from the movie?

  • @AaronAwsomness

It was really good, and it was different a bit. Like Wybie isn't in it, and it's just creey in some parts lol The creepiest part in the book for me was when Coraline found the marble with the other Miss Forcible and Spink

  • @Wafflepal there was a book?

  • @heycat9

    Yep :P

  • @Wafflepal

And Better but the movie was VERY well done...

  • @Wafflepal its a book too?? oh i've gatta read it!

  • The book=BETTER THJEN THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!! It's AWESOME!!!!!!

  • Read the book BEFORE you see the movie. The book is so MUCH better!!! This movie was a total let down for me. The book is amazing though. :)

  • @ifreakinlovekenny

    agreed

  • @espiogirl mine too this movie is just so AWESOMe!!!!!!!

  • My god this song still gives me chills. The movie was a wonderful combination of dreaming and fears.

  • ☻ OMG A BUTTON.

Is it just me or does the guy's voice in this remind me of the Other Father? Can't remember if the guy voiced both fathers or not..

  • ☻3☻

  • ☻_☻

  • Cool im popular for the button eyes!☻_☻

  • @Amyrose232323 how do you do the button eyes

  • @Amyrose232323 how do you do the button eyes.

  • @mfergful you hold down alt, then hold down the 2 on the right side of your keyboard ☻☻☻☻

  • how Do u put buttons on your txt

  • @TheIdiotboy2 you press alt and 2 together. ☻

  • @2010Hershey You must own a Windows computer, amirite? With Mac you get the Euro-sign: €. Bummer!

  • @Miloukuin I have an emachines running windows 7 and the euro sign is right on the keyboard € If its not on your keyboard try this: Hold alt and type 0128 and release alt. € see? Make sure to use the numeric keypad numbers not the normal numbers above the letters or it wont work Hershey.

  • @MosinNagantMan1 I have a Euro-sign? €. That was my point: I can't do those button-eyes, because I get the Euro-sign instead of those black circles. Also, I don't have a numeric pad, because I'm working on a MacBook Pro. :P But thanks anyway!

  • sounds like hes speaking raposan

  • i luv coraline....nd the movie ....nd these songs there so awesome

  • ♥♥ Love this!! ♥♥

  • @xXxHyperBunnyxXx o.O wierd song...

  • @ProGamingTime xD I love the songs and the film!! It gives me such inspiration xD

  • Hey SakuraJurai! I love this soundtrack so thanks for uploading! But isn't this the same as 'Dreamimg'?

  • @GilliesL the two songs are very similar, but the last few minutes are different. Dreaming has little more vocals while mechanical lullaby has more "mechanical" beats

  • It's not gibberish- Hungarian!

  • i feel like slowly spiining down the hallways to my school humming and singing this song... just to see what people do XD

  • I wonder if Coraline will need any therapy after what she has seen :L

  • isn't this the same as "dreaming" ?

  • @micMAXkey the songs are similar, but they are their own songs.

  • ALT+2

  • I love the giberish (I don't know if that's how it's spelled xD) songs.

  • d☻_☻b

  • very nostaglic

  • hey my names coraline hehe ☻.☻

  • @TheFurrieWolf Coraline your name may be, but you aren't the Coraline from the movie. She didn't get the button eyes.

  • Does anyone else notice, with the exception of the cocoa beatles from zanzibar, the Other Mother doesn't eat? Both times she's eating with coraline, her plate is empty.

  • @IDBTitanosaurus because it's to impress Coraline. It's about her being impressed with this life that she's discovered.

  • @IDBTitanosaurus did you ever notice that coraline was only allowed 2 spoonsful of food before other mother took the plate away? =P

  • ☻☻

  • @rednaruto45 hw do u do dat?

  • @wiccantutor i d☻ it like this

  • @wiccantutor

oh dear, it's ALT + 2!!! are u a caveman or something? LOL

  • Love it!

  • Where can i get this song other than itunes?!

  • @cici2c gosong.net

  • @OpalDiamondDragon773 I heard that too, and it scared me out equally x'''D After seeing the movie I think no kid would ever want those dolls anymore x')

  • I saw a commercial about stuffed dolls that look EXACTLY LIKE THE OTHER's DOLL. I screamed when I saw them. I think they were called 'Wala Wala Whoopsie' Dolls or something but they looked so much like The Beldam's doll. It was creepy O.o *shiver*

  • @DruidsGoPewPew They are called lala loopsie dolls, my sister has one like it, it terrifies me so much!

  • @DruidsGoPewPew I keep telling my sister they'll eat her soul if she gets one XD
