Dimas could rise to the occasion when it mattered most, in the Olympics. Vardanyan was a beast and a superior athlete, but Dimas was a superior champion.

By the way, Vardanyan was most likely juiced to the gills when he was C&J'ing 222.5kg. Take nothing away from Vardanyan though, the guy lifted more than the winners of the two weight classes above him in the 80 Olympics, and everyone was roiding back then.

i think naim suleymanoglu cuz he was he first to win 3 olymopic gold and he set more world records than pyrros did and naim set a world record at the age of 16!and what about Yurik Vardanyan? at the summer olympics in 1980 he lifted 222.5 kilos with the bodyweight of 81 kilos! pyrros's best is 215 and his bodyweight is 84 kilos, or what about Vasiliy Alexeev he set 80 world records! Pyrros is a superb champion no doubt i enjoin to watch him lifting
