@jellylimsihui She's charming and writes great songs. She has a team behind her who is making her famous. I'm afraid there are a bunch of pop stars who aren't good singers! To me it's sad that they rely on the studio engineers to make them sound good.

Why would anyone want to sing like Taylor Swift? I saw this girl open for Rascal Flatts before she hit it big and OML what a TRAIN WRECK! She consistently does very poorly at awards shows (when she isn't lip-syncing) and her vocal range consists of like 3-5 notes. Find a better marketing strategy lady.

@NickAlanMusic I realize that Taylor Swift is not much of a singer. I get asked by a lot of young kids how to sing like her, though. This is my answer to their requests. Notice I say that the best thing they can be is themselves - not an imitation of someone else. That's my real goal - to get kids to find their own sound.

Ok i Love Taylor....but Taylor isn't a great Vocalist...and even I can sing better then her. If there is any video how to sing like the great Mariah Carey...pls Show me that.

And there is no way to sing like Taylor Swift...as you've said...be yourself...and do not try to imitat someone. Singers are only great if they are thereself. And singin' Taylor Swift Songs is pretty easy...The Best Tip is...be yourself and have fun. Thats the mainpoint...and then the technical things.

hi, i've got a problem here. whenever i try to sing, my friend says i sound like i'm talking. does that mean i'm tone deaf? but you see, for my guitar i passed the singing section of my guitar aural test, so i can't be tone deaf, right? lol, is it possible that i just don't know how to sing? i thought singing comes naturally. I really hope you reply, thanks:)

I agree, it really is sad how some of these singers are so pushed to release new songs and go on tour that they don't a) Give them time to train to sing on key/picth and b) don't give them time to let their voice cool down. Poor girl. :(

Any work that you do with the lesson when it feels good, it's right! Each time you practice, be mindful of how you are inhaling and how you are releasing sound.

@TheDinseyChannelfan Be mindful of your inhale and how you are releasing sound-that is the first step of good singing. If it hurts-it's wrong. If it feels free and easy, it's right.
