WOW! 4 thumbsdown for 'scratch the surface comments' onlIne meds &sickness industry!! BREATHTAKINGLY NIAVE people!! What do you think the bio weapons divisions of big pharma do with the diseases viruses/bacteria/mycoplasma that they make? put them on shelf like a vase ??or shine a light on them &look at them like a painting?? THINK !! they are put into the populations for a trillion $ payday
Absolute fact cures for diseases/ horrific effects/side effects suppressed!
Ians meds the different medications(poisons that dont make
it out of the 'testing' stages without killing' turning people insane' and the cause of suicide, but are passed by reptile drug/pharma company puppet politicians
guitar what a stupid comment ,if ian were alive i'm sure he'd agree with me ,please explain to the world your comment ,which at present insults but says nothing peace
Bernard should have stuck to playing the guitar.... his voice is awfull!!!! But here he proves just how good he was at tastefull, less is more guitaring. Not flashy, just gut wrenching noise.... Not like that watered down pap he did in new order.
Definitly one of the best bands in the world! And you can clearly see an influence that they have on many modern bands, starting from Stone Roses Verve Oasis Charlatans Led Zeppelin!!!
And now when we all can see The Killers, than let`s play some of that Coldplay Massive Attack!!
So would I! Could you give an example of these 'sick things', by way of comparison :-P? Also, great video, unfortunately out of sync, though. I introduced Joy Division to my ex-girlfriend when I was just getting to know it. I think this as one of their darkest songs, but she finds it rather cheerful! But, then again, there're more things about that girl that I just don't get...
minha música favorita do joy division!!

WHERE WILL IT END

A seer knows the truth, but can't necessarily make beauty from it.
A poet makes beauty, but (contra Keats) doesn't necessarily speak the truth.
Ian Curtis, seer and poet, and ordinary bloke at the same time. Where will it end indeed?
We will not see his like again.

"UP" was strangely influential among metalheads. Doom metal, goth metal, industrial, even black metal are all soweway inspired by JD.

Just awesome. The best group of all, at their best concert, with its most powerful song.
Just stunning.
Light years ahead of the rest!
Sadly missed.....

How could this turn into the 1 dimensional soft-cocks who call themselves New Order ? Says a lot about Ian Curtis' brilliance
graemecoy 2 years ago
Some say that Morrissey is a lyricst genius. As a JD & Smiths addict, i'd have to say Ian is the King of lyrics.
Every song is a synchronized masterpiece of music, vocals & lyrics. Pure perfection in every song.

My all time favorite song by Joy Division. Best one they ever did IMO. R.I.P. Ian Curtis, he is missed.

Back when I hadn't started liking JD, I would've not keep on listening to them if it wasn't for the song.

Oh, by the way, I introduced this song as I was just getting to know HER, not Joy Division.

I'd like to believe if you could somehow harness the energy from a Joy Division concert you could power a whole city for days.
