I got the same phone call while I was at college, but it was my grandmother that has passed on. I took a greyhound back home and thought about how loving and caring she had been to me. I BELIEVE she is still with me. Keep the memory of your loved ones alive as their spirit lives on. We will see them again.

makes me think of Mrs.Wiggins that lived 2 doors down from us in a white house and I loved her soo much. I went to see her everyday and sit and talk with her. She always gave me my favorite popsicle. It was lime with icecream inside. I told her once she was like my second mom. Later in life I drove to see her and the neighbor told me she had died a few weeks earlier and I cried the whole way home. She was such a wonderful person and I know she wanted to spend eternity with God.

i totally know what you mean. my great aunt was like my second mom. she kept me more hours a day than i was with my own parents b/c they worked so much. then earlier this year in february she died. it's been amazingly hard to get along with out her. i wonder around like a lost puppy. i miss her so much and i still have days where i just break down and cry. i know she is in a better place, she worshiped God her whole life, but you can't help but be sad that someone so amazing is out of your life.
