It would be nice to see it put to real use, i.e. What can the (tiny) steam engine do for the house, and how else would he utilise the solar collector? --- I know, heat some water!
If the tubes are fixed in one position basically, then a good idea is to use a mirrored surface behind the tubes to reflect light onto them. Also mirrors to the left and right of the tube system can adda few extra hundred watts to the system. What do you think, can it be useful?
That's tru you need collectors , that is shine surface.
