they don't blow. Lindy hop is not meant to be fast. 'Jive' is - ballroom bullshit. Or even Hollywood style swing. But not Lindy. Lindy is groovin', generally medium tempo-ed, tho can vary. THESE GUYS POSITIVELY ROCK!!!!

As the person who hired these two for the gig- they are certainly NOT east- coaster-wannabe-lindy-hoppers. THey are versatile experienced dancers who can do ALL forms of swing and other dance styles, who were hired to create an amalgamation of swing schtuff for a fun lil piece. If you didn't recognize a basic 8 count swing out within their dance, you're a fucking idiot. Sure, there's lots of lindy hoppers more skilled, but that's not the point - these two have performance quality.

I think this was a great video....especially myself, who does not know how to swing dance and would like to learn. In this video I was finally able to see the shifting of weight on the feet, the positioning of arms etc....this is really helpful to me. Thanks for sharing Meredith and Phil! =0)
