I thought Damien Echols' favorite meal was dog blood & dog leg? After he tortured & skinned them & would hang their skulls in his room. These ARE FACTS & extremely disturbing. After Casey was found not guilty..these guys will NEVER get a fair trial. I am done on here cause the justice system does NOT WORK equal. The pretty girl got away with MURDERING HER CHILD. Just thrown in a swamp and she walks away as if nothing happened... Disgusting... No evidence against these guys yet they are still in jail...Our justice system is a bad joke. A few weeks before the murders one of the 8 year old victims, Chris Byers, ran to his mother & told her that a "strange man dressed in black" had pulled into their driveway in a green car, got out with a camera & took his picture, then drove off quickly. The new evidence for the prosecution, namely multiple post conviction confessions by all three defendants will result in the original verdicts standing and no new trials will be granted. ECHOLS was on FULL DISABILITY for mental problems. HE killed dogs. HE tried to pull a schoolmates eyes out. HE threatened teachers. HE threatened to eat his father alive. I am hoping that all 3 of them get out this year. I have followed this case for years and have read everything that I could find about the case and do not beilive that these (boys) well men now had anything to do with the killings of those 3 little boys. I believe in the death penatly however, when there is doubt then that person should not be executed. in this case there is doubt. There is no evidence that points to these 3. The one kid who did confess was of low IQ and didn't even give accurate details of the killings. It is very possible that these 3 are innocent and the real killer is out. I do hope for justice for these 3 young boys, but I want the right killers behind bars too.
What I want to know is, if the first Misskelly confession was coerced, why under no pressure or coercion after post conviction did he again confess to crimes?
there has been plenty of speculation on this case, it means nothing... there is only hard data... there is no physical evidence that ties these three people to these murders. most importantly, there is no murder weapon, motive or witnesses to this crime. i am not a judge and never will i be but, at the very least, these men deserve a ruling of 'reasonable doubt'... you have to ask yourself, what would you rather: convict and innocent man or let a guilty man go free..
I am so glad Damien go his appeal for a hearing. It has been long coming. I just hope truth prevails in this case. This is a sad case for those little boys and for the injustice of this case. I hope Damien can get vindicated. Like he said Who? How? and Why? I hope justice is finally coming in this case.
AR Supreme Court ruled today, they all get a new trial using the DNA evidence. Thank God. Prosecutors are still saying the absence of DNA does not mean they are innocent. Why does the prosecutors think we use DNA? it is also a path to avoid the prosecution of innocent people. The facts with the DNA should set these boys free. We'll see. Then they'd have to look at Byers and Hobbs harder which they seem afraid to do.

ECHOLS was on FULL DISABILITY for mental problems. HE killed dogs. HE tried to pull a schoolmates eyes out. HE threatened teachers. HE threatened to eat his father alive. HE said his baby would be a Satanic sacrifice.HE was seen near the crime scene on the night of the murders in muddy clothes. HE attempted suicide in jail after his arrest. 2 people testified they heard HIM admit to the murders. HE failed his polygraph. Just a kid in black who liked METAL? No, a killer in jail where HE belongs!

I am hoping that all 3 of them get out this year. I have followed this case for years and have read everything that I could find about the case and do not beilive that these (boys) well men now had anything to do with the killings of those 3 little boys. My heart goes out to all of them and I will keep praying for the release of them and for the true killer to be found. Free the WM3!!!

I believe in the death penatly however, when there is doubt then that person should not be executed. in this case there is doubt. There is no evidence that points to these 3. The one kid who did confess was of low IQ and didn't even give accurate details of the killings. It is very possible that these 3 are innocent and the real killer is out. I do hope for justice for these 3 young boys, but I want the right killers behind bars too.

there has been plenty of speculation on this case, it means nothing... there is only hard data... there is no physical evidence that ties these three people to these murders. most importantly, there is no murder weapon, motive or witnesses to this crime. i am not a judge and never will i be but, at the very least, these men deserve a ruling of 'reasonable doubt'... you have to ask yourself, what would you rather: convict and innocent man or let a guilty man go free..

I am so glad Damien go his appeal for a hearing. It has been long coming. I just hope truth prevails in this case. This is a sad case for those little boys and for the injustice of this case. I hope Damien can get vindicated. Like he said Who? How? and Why? I hope justice is finally coming in this case.

AR Supreme Court ruled today, they all get a new trial using the DNA evidence. Thank God. Prosecutors are still saying the absence of DNA does not mean they are innocent. Why does the prosecutors think we use DNA? it is also a path to avoid the prosecution of innocent people. The facts with the DNA should set these boys free. We'll see. Then they'd have to look at Byers and Hobbs harder which they seem afraid to do.
