@TasmaniasFinest. Again I say what sort of a team doesn't make the finals after being premiers the year before. Your season was more of a waste than ours. Even though we didn't go deep into September we did beat arch-rivals Carlton and hawthorn twice (yeah that's right) and that fantastic win against collingwood on ANZAC Day. We were also the first team to defeat St Kilda that year and prevent them from breaking our 2000 record. Yeah 10 flags in 50 years is impressive. But you can't go past 16

Was great fun to watch Buddy smash the pathetic bombers in June 2010. Shouldn't be too hard to for the Hawks to beat them again in round 14 this year. Looking forward to it! Hopefully there will be more Bombers supporters at the game this time. A lot of them were too scared to turn up last year! Poor effort.

Every time a fight breaks out between these teams, Essendon finds composure and continues on with the game. Whereas Hawthorn lose total control.
Essendon didn't cheat. They earned their spot in the 8 regardless of being handed a 96 point loss. That year Hawthorn showed the worst example of defending a premiership.

If you look closely at the video, the Hawthorn player (25) pushes Lloyd in the back moments before the collision, pushing him off balance. Contact would have been made regardless, but I believe it wouldn't have been so severe.

I'm a Hawks fan and always have been, played the game at a very high level in my younger years and I appreciate hard footy - it's the way the game has always been played and these pussies like Demetriou ar ruining our great game by changing the rules taking out the hardness!
