This is my all time favorite movie just because its so "to the point". But yeah I agree, I definitly think more should have happened with her daughter at the end. Even if they had to show it like 5 years in the future.

That's a problem with a lot of independent films in my opinion, it's almost like they go out of their way to be controversial. If it were a big budget film those scenes would have been the first ones to get cut because studios realize that most people won't want to go to a movie theater and see that while indies don't care because they are almost expecting to lose money.
This film is great. The trailer, however, is awful. I'm glad I didn't see it before seeing the film. It reveals too many of the key scenes from the film.
Maggie is way better actor than Jake could ever be.
