  • Organisms take advantage of modifications of their own DNA all the time. Genetic modification is occuring all the time in the envirionment. Organisms take advantage of this all the time through natural selection. What is the difference when humans change gene regulation and protein expression?Nothing, sometimes it makes an unhealthy organism.Go back, change it some more and it will be fine. in fact, aside from the different expression it will metabolically indistinguishable from nat organisms.

  • @eenger The kind of genetical modification you're referring to is not modification, but selection. What we do is modifying the DNA using DNA from another organism. Nature just selects the best animals bij natural selection so their DNA can stay, but what we do is ADDING to the DNA from DNA out of another organism, so that's the difference, we're mixing up species.

  • What the fuck does a corrupt agency have to do with the safety of GMOs? This argument applies to anything the FDA approves, some of which are necessary to save lives. This fool is not really arguing against GMOs, as he is against corruption. With proper regulation and scientific research and testing, GMOs will be found to be as bening as any other organism. Christ people, they are merely modifying the gene regulation or protein production, modifying a natural process, it wont harm you.

  • Foods in the supermarket I ignore:

Huge fat asparagus says grown in Peru, asparagus are supposed to be skinny and full of Vitamin E, etc

Really huge peaches that have no scent, way too big, taste 'cottony'

Carrots that are so bright orange in the bag, looks like dyes in it, taste like bleach.

I just pass it by, because I know better and I believe in supporting organic

  • So to me, I was raised where if you see fish that looks like that, it is not the original form, it is altered and not meant to eat. And if that is the bottom line, then it is not meant to be produced or sold, period. I have made sure to get fresh wild caught fish, but then again, even that could be now not so perfect since theBP oil spill and aftermath of the nuclear meltdown in Japan.

  • @intensive40 Don't worry about the oil - oil is a natural product of Earh, and Erth will do just fine with it. It already did. As per Japan - we'll see, but I don't believe it has much significance. Czarnobyl was worse and was kept under the carpet for long allowing contamintion to spread before anyone reacted. You can go fishing with peace of mind ..... for now.

  • I can remember looking at salmon in the grocery store, and seeing how too pink it was, understanding there were dyes put in it, just to get it to look healthy, and it smelled terrible, and people would buy it while there was info out there about eating salmon that was not wild, instead farm raised, devoid of Omega fatty acids, which is the whole point of eating salmon, to get a good source of Omega Oils. So basically, if people buy it, they are supporting farm raised fish, and why is it legal?

  • We should all have a conversation on why more people are not aware of Who Monsanto is ...truth in information...disclosures in food labels...Who is in charge of dispersing information? I have fought my way to access in information and it has helped my life and my community! I do not think normal people go on you tube to say jew this, or bible that, science is indifferent, it is science, and there is ample proof GMO have long term terrible effects, originating from a decent idea meant for farmers

  • Of all the healthy foods I have eaten, all of it was based on a principal, the location I work at. If you work in an office far from a organic grocer, or cafe, you lose. In my entire career, I attribute access to healthy organic foods to the fact that the places I work at are in walking proximity to a whole foods or allows me to bring my own packed lunch to work, organic!

  • i wish i could take you food activists more seriously but most of you are way too hysterical over this issue. food has been genetically modified for over 15 years and

how many people have died from it?

  • Mansanto wants to create FAKE PROTEIN or genetically alter it in order to feed the population. With the addition of GMO foods, many foods such as genetically altered cows, beef, salmon, cod, turkey, liver, they will contain an gene of an altered protein that are bodies won't recognize but will eliminate into our waste systems. MANSANTO IS GOING TO RELEASE GMO ANIMALS INTO THE PUBLIC NEXT! STOP ALL THE FAKE PROTEIN COMING IN!

THE POPULATION WILL STARVE TO DEATH IF THEY DON'T GET THEIR PROTEIN!

  • @CBasie2856 that is exactly why they are doing it, they want to cause severe malnutrition and dehydration which is going quite well at the moment....sickness and cancer, dependance on big pharma and reduced life spans..they want all food to be GMO... so much has already been GM for years, wheat, soy and other grains are all altered.. there is no original anymore. not that they are very good 4U, Soy is very bad for you, they know that, thats why it is in everything, inc animal feed...

  • @SovereignBeing Monsanto is clearly putting their own economic benefit before the health and safety of the public. I completely agree with you there, but you seem to think that genetically modified foods were invented as part of some sort of corporate conspiracy. In reality, genetically modified foods were invented by researchers with very noble intentions. Consider, with the world population at 7 billion, and still climbing, ensuring an adequate supply of food and clean water is already

  • @SovereignBeing a major issue; genetically modified crops offer a possible solution. By engineering crops which are naturally resistant to pests and diseases, can withstand cold temperatures, or have drought and salinity tolerance, we can increase crop yield, begin growing in areas previously unsuitable for farming, and even reduce the amount of fresh water we have left in the process. And, because these plants are themselves naturally resistant to pests and diseases, farmers will no longer

  • @SovereignBeing need to use toxic pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, or herbicides, thus making them safer for consumers and their families (Whitman, 2000). In addition, genetically engineered foods also have the ability to improve the nutritional value of staple foods to address the issue of malnutrition in third world countries. For example, severe vitamin A deficiency is a common cause of blindness in many underdeveloped areas of the world. A new strand of "golden rice", rich in

  • @SovereignBeing in beta-carotene, may be the answer (Toenniessen, 2000). Also in short supply in these areas are medicines and vaccines. These are often costly to produce and require very specific storage conditions not available in third world countries. Researchers are currently working to produce edible vaccines in tomatoes and potatoes that will be easier to ship, store, and administer (Daniell, 219-26). And, if all that isn't enough, genetically modified plants are also helping to

  • @SovereignBeing reduce the effects of pollution by cleaning up heavy metal pollution from contaminated soil (Whitman, 2000). Genetic engineering is a truly remarkable scientific innovation and it has enormous potential. However, because it is a relatively new science, we simply have not conducted enough research to be able to definitively say wether or not GMOs are, in fact, safe for human consumption. In my opinion, GM foods should not be released to the market until there is a consensus

  • @billy6131992 you dont seem to understand the agenda behind the GMO and i dont have time to read your diatribe of 50 comments.. go play with brad lauber.

  • @SovereignBeing among the scientific community that they are 100% safe. Genetic engineering has the potential to do great things, but it also has the potential to do irreparable damage. Owing to this fact, we must ensure that the industry conduct itself responsibly with the safety of the people as its first priority.

  • @billy6131992 well you clearly have no idea of the agenda behind GMO.

  • @SovereignBeing I think you are misinterpreting my argument. GMOs don't have an agenda; the corporate sector that stands to profit from GMOs does. Monsanto is a business and, like all other businesses, its goal is to generate as much of a profit as it can, and if that means releasing a product to the market that may be harmful to consumers, so be it. I agree that this business mentality of profit over public safety is absolutely despicable but, even so, Monsanto is not "trying" to kill anyone

  • @SovereignBeing They are trying to make a profit. I would even go so far as to say that they are trying to monopolize the food industry, but they do not have some unquenchable, sociopathic desire to kill and neither do genetically modified foods. As I said before, genetic engineering began in labs with researchers that were trying to use what we know about science to make the world a better place. Unfortunately, industry, in its eagerness to capitalize on this new market, began introducing

  • @SovereignBeing genetically modified organisms into the food supply before research could be conducted to assure these foods were safe for human consumption. Genetically modified foods themselves are not intrinsically evil. The only criminal action here is on the part of the corporate sector releasing these products to the market before sufficient research could be conducted on their long term health effects. Monsanto is a corrupt company and, although they are willing to sacrifice people's

  • @SovereignBeing lives in the name of profit, their sole goal is profit. That being said, I am completely for the anti-GM movement. Transgenesis is a new science and, in my opinion, it needs to be researched much more thoroughly before we can even think about incorporating it into the food supply or releasing it into nature. However, our government will not be persuaded by outlandish conspiracy theories. In their eyes, his only delegitimizes the movement. Let's stick to the scientific facts.

  • space man .... yes every one will pass away eventually and i personally don't want to see 75 but i would like to be as healthy as possible through out my life. i don't mind the gmo i don't like that there was no testing ..........government regulates what doesn't need it and ignores food safety why...

  • Genetic modifications to food in the right hands could cure world hunger. All these "Naturalist" retards on this board sitting in mommy and daddys $500k suburban home like to shop and the mall and think the organic trend is cool.

  • @bkl139 WHY DON'T YOU GO TELL THAT TO YOUR SATANIC MASTER, YOU CAN EXPLAINE THAT TO SOME MOTHER WHO LOST THEIR KID BECAUSE THEIR KID DIED BECAUSE THE GMO FOODS MADE THEM ALERGIC, THUS MILLIONS OF KIDS ARE BEING POISONED AND DIED, I WOULD CHALLENGE YOU TO A BOXING MATCH SO I COULD PUNCH THE STUPID RIGHT OUT OF YOU, CAUSE I FIGHT FOR REAL JUSTICE AND WHEN THE ROITS COME WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR EVERY NAZI AGENT LINKED TO MONSANTO AND PUT YOU ON TRAIL AND THEN YOU WILL BE HANGED

  • @SpaceMan131326 LOL. Damn man I suppose if you felt so strongly about the disadvantaged children you would have your internet turned off and the money donated to the third world. I bet the starving kids over there wouldn't mind eating something genetically modified. GM will have to happen in order to sustain the human population going forward. No way around it. But I guess cock suckers like yourself are too thick to realize that. :-)

  • @bkl139 Thank you. I'm glad I finally know the truth about the people posting comments on this board.

  • @bkl139 I really don't care who you are and what you say, YOUR DONE AND THE TURTH IS OUT ALL MONSANTO AND BUSH SATANISTS ARE NOTED AND YOU SHALL ALL BE HELD FULLY ACOUNTABLE FOR YOUR PROMITION OF POISONS, YOU ARE GOING DOWN THE TRUTH IS FULLY OUT NOW

  • Mosanto is the most evil corporation on earth. This company was founded by jews and is still controlled by jews. The jews want to control all our food and make us all sick, stupid, and weak, so that they can easily rule over us and so they can kill us too.

  • Why do we hate the world that God gave us, so, so, much?

  • Science has become insane with its power. Yet people will believe a scientist over almost everyone else. "It's easier for a King to have a lie believed than for a beggar to spread the truth.." quote by : Dr. Robert Strecker

  • ANYONE that believe GMO foods are good for YOU,,go luck in your premature death...GMO foods, are soft kill weapons.Ask yourselves how can man improve on GOD and nature.Do some research,,THERE IS A REASON WHY,,the worlds ELITE,are storing Organic,NOT GMO seeds in seed vaults.GMO foods, and Vaccines are for population control. There is a connection with GMO foods, and LARGE populations of BEES dying off."No more bees,"NO MORE FOOD" Albert Einstein

  • @b2flyer1 Absolutely! Anyone who doesn't see this if they aren't brain fucked too stupidity by GMO food they are genuinely stupid already.

  • all fungus causes Cancer so this is why people have very high rates of Cancer, wow this is a very good video, wake up people your Government funds Monsanto

  • @SpaceMan131326 correlation is not causation . Cancer caused by :

drinking , smoking , high calorie diet , poisons and detergents , destruction of environment etc . You cant just blame genetic engineered food for everything .

  • @sewagedweller yes is you know how the receptor latches onto you cells, yes GMO also produces smokes that kill people faster, diet aspartine is poison, soaps with poisonious chemicals that harm your skin, you missed baby foods as well, birth defects from the pesticides and Hebicides that cause all sorts of nevre damage in organs, Monsanto makes the GMO as well as the chemicals Plus lets not forget about Baxter National they made the swine flu, you missed asbestos water pipes and products

  • @SpaceMan131326 nobody made swine flue , diseases rise naturally thanks to rapid mutation rates . 80% problems could have been resolved if there was better market regulations .

  • @sewagedweller look up the pattons, Baxter pattoned it one year before it came out, plus you can compare the medical records with the spike and all the new syndromes came out, plus you can also match up the chemicals to the older spike from the herbicides and pesticides, Your screen name suits you, your a scum bag for sure and you work for big Pharma spreading fake info to others, well lucky for us we know all the details about you, your done you scum bag

  • @SpaceMan131326 right , sanity for the weak . I dont work for big pharmaceutical companies deepshit . Now back to your basement wearing aluminum cap to hide you from space-zombie-titties . Maybe if you werent a fat arsed american cunt drinking cokes by a bucket and never lifting your arse your nation would have been a lot more healthier . Hell I lived next to uranium mine and im healthy .

  • @SpaceMan131326 I would rather die of cancer 40 years from now than die of hunger now. Everything is cancer this cancer that now a days. Your going to die someday and we can't all live to be 102. Stop redirecting blame for our lifespan. If you dont like it maybe to can hitch up the mules and go plow a field for your "Natural Food" food.

  • they dont give out noble prizes for ignorance and when you can explain what monsanto or any chemical company is doing feel free to critique

no one goes to school for 8 years just to destroy the earth, you dont need a degree for that (as proven by the numberous assholes here)

  • I refuse to study science in a western nation, it’s too commercialized and money driven. Just think of this whole GMO debacle, the whole thing is taking molecular biology to the fringes of a pseudo science. One day people will look back and ridicule the sheer stupidity of these "scientists".

  • @superheronumber1 im quite sure people like you will always be ridiculed no matter what . Cause you are retard , bio chem is not a pseudo science you fucking moron.

  • @sewagedweller well I used study biochemistry and seeing the way it's becoming more and more dogmatic, rote-learning based, and yes you can smell the money in the labs, you really have to wonder what the future of this science is. Creative breakthroughs don't happen under those conditions, grant-worshiping idiots who genetically alter the foods we eat come from such institutions and seeing how myopic and naive that is you really have to wonder how it's going to reflect on this science years away

  • @superheronumber1 Creative brake thoughts happen more frequently when there is a demand for them . Enough of this communist bullshit , yes there are number of problems , abuses and corruption involved , but hey if you dont go though growing pain you will never reap the befit . And what is wrong with people working for sake of personal interest ? You are allowed to sell your labor , so why cant scientists sell fruits of their labor ?

  • @superheronumber1 well duhh science is deterministic by nature , laws of physics are dogmatic by their very foundation . Dont like they way things are done to china or north korea im sure you'll love it there .

  • I hope Monsanto goes to hell and burns for eternity. I would love to see those vile, putrid, leaking, GM-scum bags of lesser organic matter which somehow pass for human beings working for Monsanto suffer for what they are doing to our food and planet. How dare they take such an irresponsible risk. And you thought right winged Christians were dangerous, try these naive, arrogant, simple-minded, reductionist, myopic, ignorant, idiot adherents to the Church of Scientism ruining our planet.

  • Not too long ago, the FDA were on the verge of approving GMO salmon....................WELCOME......to the end of the world!

  • and the last time that the hand of man carried no unforseen consequences was?

  • The truth is plain and simple. If nature (animals, insects or microorganisms) avoid eating these foods, that is due to their heightened senses of taste and smell. They will shun away from them because they are bad. We have to be open minded and read more and come to our own conclusions. Ultimately these are choices we make, whether we smoke, use drugs or chemicals or GMOs. Its up to you to decide what you want in your body. You are what you eat, drink and put into your body. You decide.

  • i'm gonna dump glyphosate all over this mofo

  • Engdahl's book, Seeds of Destruction is packed full of facts on GMO's. Great upload.

  • I'm not worried about consuming GM products, what I am concerned about is the effect GM products have on wildlife in and around the countryside. We as the human race is growing and need to improve crop yields, and there are not many viable ways of doing so without considering GM.

It's a shame there isn't an answer that suits everybody, what ever we do something will upset someone.

  • @locouk ,you should be worried about eating GMO more so than affects on the wildlife!!!! This may be a shock to some but your body knows the difference between GMO and NON-GMO!!

  • @RawFoodGuy99 In what way will my body know the difference? I don't agree with GM for the hell of messing with plant/animal genes, but when the final product can save whole communities from starvation it can only be a good thing. In some parts of the world, children eat mud cakes to stave off hunger pain, I'm sure their body's would be glad with a GM loaf of bread.

  • @locouk ,How would GMO foods help with starvation? In fact the yield of GMO crops are smaller and they also are sprayed with more chemials verse NON-GMO! Experiments have been done feeding GMO foods to children in indian, some died or had organ failure to name a few! Many animals won't touch GMO! GMO plants that produce there own pesticide still make the pestcide in the human gut even after being eaten ! Is that a serious question about how your body can tell the difference?

  • @locouk I want to grow my own food. Small farms are good for everyone. The only problem is people still need money and to get theat money they have to give up thier time. Need a new system....

  • To LexPhilogus-you're a medieval pin head idiot. Actually since the time of Jesus the life span was considered 70 years old(see Bible), it increase in modern times to 78 but now is decreasing. Also GMO crops all over the world have produced lesser yields and failed out right(see 120,000 Indian farmers kill them selves after total GMO cotton crop loss.) FOOL-can't you see pop. control by poison right before our eyes? OR maybe you're one of them!

  • Insist GMO's are labelled!

    youarebeingdeceived-dotcom

  • This series is good information for clueless drones who support GM food.

    wake up bitches!

  • WILD GOURD LEAVES MAKE A PERFECT SUN TEA FOR YOUR PLANTS, AS IT IS A BUG REPELLENT FOR YOUR PLANTS WITHOUT PESTICIDE

NOW THE THIRD WORLD CAN GROW ITS OWN BUG REPELLENT FOR THEIR CROPS.

I HAVE TESTED THIS FOR 6 YEARS,

    TAKE A LOOK

    donze52

  • theres pros and cons to every advancement, but its up to us to decide what to adapt and use in our lives its all ways free will

  • @GLOBALRAPTUREdotcom If our corrupt government officials prevent labeling of GMO products as containing GMOs, then we =cannot= exercise "free will." How can I avoid a product (exercising my "free will") containing GMOs if I am being =prevented= from knowing that it contains GMOs in the first place? If YOU want to eat it, go ahead; I'd prefer not to.

  • Well that's one interpretation of science... But let's face it, you are typing your comment on a computer. That didn't come out of thin air. Science is rough sometimes, but it constantly refines itself and continues to smooth out all the rough edges. I think the real problem is a greedy, profit-driven system of thought that jumps on opportunity for profits too readily without exploring the consequences nearly as much as they are responsible to do so. These PEOPLE need to be held accountable.

  • I think genetics is a field that should be studied in the non-profit sector. We can use it to mass produce healthy, eco-system friendly foods just as much as unhealthy and environmentally dangerous foods. It's a double edged sword, but its being researched for all the wrong reasons right now.

  • @seanotube85 Organic Food is always gonna be superior over conventional. And conventional eco-friendly ? Haha GMO food is always spraysed with herbcides and fungicides etc, killing ll the friendly bacteria in the soil. Eco-system friendly? nope

  • @seanotube85 ,GMO is not healthy period, your body knows the difference,GMO is very dangerous and i don't get why people can not see this !!!

  • @RawFoodGuy99 it's unhealthy if they add the herbicides and grow based on size and not nutrition. You could also theoretically genetically modify fruits/vegetables etc. to produce healthier foods rather than larger foods... if you could sell this idea to the mass production companies.

  • I'm really in support of genetically modified foods - but I agree, we need to research the health benefits. With all we are able to do with biotechnology (grow hearts in petri dishes, stem cell research from skin cells), we'll be able to fix it. I honestly believe we will... but we need people to fuss about it! To say "make sure the food you're modifying is healthy!"... I hate the fact that it's not, because everyone thinks of GMF as horrible when it has such potential!

  • @rsgirl10 Agreed!

  • @seanotube85 No GMO foods they are poison, our food used to be good for us before they started GMO and using Herbicies and Pesticides, Ban GMO foods and GMO animals, they have growth hormones and growth Hormones cause cancer, bring back the normal foods that are organic and free from chemicals and fake flavoring, Arrest the Nazi scientests that have poisoned and murdered millions of people with their eugenics programs, they poisoned our waters with floride and bleach in our foods,

  • @SpaceMan131326 GMO is not herbicides, pesticides or growth hormones. Those are separate monsters. GMO means genetically modified. I'm not saying you shouldn't be afraid of pesticides/herbicides/growth hormones—those are bad. I'm also not saying that GMO can't be used to create large fruits/vegetables that have low nutrition value. I'm saying that it can ALSO be used to greatly benefit society by genetically modifying foods that ARE nutritious and healthy to fight cancer, liver disease etc.

  • @seanotube85 Sorry GMO is a poison and it is designed to work in tandom with all the other GMO bio weapons, they design them to attack organs in our body, plus your giving out fake infomation so you are not a good person, fact growth hormons give cancer, fact fungus also causes cancer and cancer is a fungus, fact GMO foods harm people and they are not safe, plus GMO foods are designed like a pesticide to work with herbicies and pesticides thus the plants absorb more poison, so know the truth

  • @SpaceMan131326 Cancer is a fungus??(=Retarded). GMO foods can be designed in many ways, which is a fact you would like to deny to the benefit of nothing more than your ego which is terrified and crippling your immune system. Get help now or you will surely die!!! Okay, that last part was an exaggeration feeding off your ridiculous hyperbolic arguments, but equally as valid. The main point is you can genetically engineer for good or for bad, but if you deny the good with the bad you're an idiot.

  • @seanotube85 you can't hide the truth any longer you scum and to mislead others we should hang out for killing kids and animals, God is here now and you and your lies shall not pass for truth any longer, God made food just fine, then you start tampering with our natraul foods and people start dying and getting all sorts of syndromes, huge spikes in all the foods you pattoned, screw you and your lies, you are an evil person to make kids sick with your depopulation programs and your a demon

  • @SpaceMan131326 You're like a child who wanders into a conversation and starts shouting everybody's wrong without understanding a word they're saying. Go get a fucking education you stupid loser. Oh, and by the way I think that patenting food should be illegal, and companies like Monsanto should be shut down (if you even know what that company is). And there are MANY reasons why people get sick from the food they eat these days. It's more complicated than your brain can comprehend, obviously.

  • @seanotube85 nope just your wrong about spreading lies to all others, if I am a child then you are not even born so please blow away with the evil of Hell you came from

  • @seanotube85 with all honestly - I don't think genetic manipulation of plants is good at all. It has nothing to do with religious doubts, just plain logic. There is no good testing, rush to implement more quickly, and will always be as long as we have monetary system. I believe whole idea of 'substancial equivalence' is a huge scam to simply make implementation quicker. I know there is a rap in town about solving powerty this way - but it's nonsense. So far gmo's CREATED more poverty (ie. India)

  • @JJTechnologies That has to do more with land rights and corporatism than scientific research. True, science is a double edged sword, it can be used for great good as well as great evil, but all I'm saying is that we use it for great good instead of great evil.

  • Absolute agreement. Accountability must be based on science, however, not the shrillest voice.

If people want to make claims about dangers of GMOs, then they need to demonstrate them scientifically.

  • @IlSeFousDeTaGuele well, what about aspartame? It was shown to cause cancer in rats in the 1970s and yet its still in our food and beverages today. If a company has enough money they can do whatever they want. I feel that we have a right to know if our foo has bacteria resistant to round up in it.

  • lol we've been genetically modifiying food for over thousands of years with no bad results. why do u think we have corn?!? it is speculated that corn came from a plant called Teosinte (a type of grass). ALL THANKS TO OUR GENENTIC MODIFICATION!!!!

  • We didn't do the Cross Spices Genetic Modifications, e.g. Mixing a Fish with a Tomato, until recent yrs. This guy is Talking about there is something Fish about the Cross Spices Genetic Modifications. He's Not talking about the Same Species Genetic Modifications.

  • Correction: "Species"

  • Gene delivery into cultured plant cells by DNA-coated gold - Plant. Physiol 87:671-674

The idea came from Francis Bacon who tried slamming tissue from cold-loving species of animals into plant seeds in the hopes of producing cold-resistant species.

  • So, did he(Francis Bacon) Succeed making a New Species?! If he Succeeded that, then did a Lot of Ppl Eat Stuff he made?! LOL.

  • Sure. It is where tofurkey came from.

  • I take that as a Joke.

  • It is a little dry sometimes.

  • @CaptainHero3 that is not genetically modifying that is the crossing for species plus evolution. GM is taking a gene known to produce a certain protein and inserting it into the dna of a plant. the mass production of GMOs in our foods has only been around for nearly 2 decades now.

  • I'm itching for some fish cell tomatoes.

  • "GM does not produce higher crop yeilds"

Bullshit. You are lying and the data is publically available, so it is dumb for you to do so. Not to mention round-up-ready has resulted in crops that require far less herbicide, and allow farmers to use an herbicide which is environmentally friendly & breaks down quickly.

A win in every way, and you mindless morons don't like it. Well tough shit. You can moan and complain, and we are advancing with the science just the same.

  • Yes and the have successful sued farmers for breach of patent, when those farmers had their crops contaiminated with GM from nieghbouringfamrs. And there is the pseudo socientific concept of substantial equivilance, that allows little or no testing on GM. Its a travesty !

  • How any logical humanbeing could argue for genetic modification of our principal food stuffs is incomprehensible, therfore i would conclude it is not a logical human being. Monsanto creating "Roundup Resistant Soybeans" . Does everyone grasp the magnitude of a herbicide resistant herb? All in the name of saving us from pesticides and herbicides there goes the logic.

  • it doesnt save us from herbicide, it allowes farmers to spray MORE herbicide.

monsanto hasnt done any in depth studys into the effects of geneticly modified products.. this is the same company that lied about agent orange being safe, same company that lied about the safety of growth hormone, same company that called roundup bio degradable even though that had evidence to show otherwise. they know profit is larger then lawsuit pay outs.

they have been proven as liars before, many times.

  • GM Food is more of a harm then a gain. The government is just defending it so that they can make money, teaching teens about how great GM food is. In the past, when there is no GM food, look at the cancer rate. Now, with all this weird GM food, 1 out of 5 people have cancer. I don't know why people defend for GM food.

  • US govmt=Monsanto. Donald Rumsfeld used to work for that corporation.

Watch " The Future of Food". It's really horrifying what those Nazis did.

  • Your claims about BGH and puberty are bullshit. There ARE no studies demonstrating ANY link.

  • then we need studies, GM shoulod be proved to be safe, not the other way round ! You are an idiot !

  • Good God. More ignorance. I always support testing. Science is what I live by.

And thus far GM foods HAVE been proved to be safe. Demonstrating otherwise is up to you. The rest of us have accepted them.

I dare you to go shopping at a grocery store and NOT buy ANYTHING GM. You are dreaming if you think you do.

Idiot I may be, but compared to you, I am a god.

  • firstly I apologise unreservidly for calling you an idiot. That was wrong on my part.

Re testing, GM foods have not been proved safe. A GM test on Soya on humans, found GM transfered to bactieria in the gut. This is a potential cause of new disease. GM soya fed to cows had an inintended consequence of 30 % higer fat in the milk. What other unintended consequences might their be ? In Britain, the superkarkets advise GM free, I hopethey are not lies. GM is linked to false pregnances in pigs.

  • lol...

care to provide evidence to support your claims?

  • So what ARE the names of those Monsanto board members in the FDA? Another bullshit claim.

  • Yeah I notice you have still not posted the name of your alleged study.

Pathetic. So in other words you make claims in utter vacuum of any scientific studies and information.

And taking information from reggieworth, real name Reggie Worth. The pothead from Canada living on the dole because he failed out of Winthrop University on a COMMUNICATIONS degree (how the fuck do you fail communications?).

    Live with your stupidity.

  • Wow how "pathetic" that he turned that information into a past that he could try and bash you for...this is so amusing!

  • Comment removed

  • IlSeFousDeTaGuele is a troll they have many different screen names dont waste your time with them, they arent a doctor, they arent a scientist, they have no previous experience to fall back onto, or any proof in there claims. They also choose to cuss when things get heated. Troll is so pathetic. He has no life.He argues with teenagers and early 20 yr old's on his computer. I wonder how old they are....

  • Yeah where are those studies proving your claims? I see that you STILL haven't produced them, after you claimed to have them a half dozen times.

That is because they are fictional. And all the names you and reggieworth (*cough* yeah, like you are really not the same person) call me doesn't change those facts.

  • And don't ask me to name people from the FDA an Monsanto who are related job wise if you don't want me to list names.Thought that was a give in.

  • Why do you have so many screen names. Is it because no one agrees with you so you need backup?

  • HaHa your'e a troll.

  • ah you have friend lock. This is boring you can wait till tomorrow.

  • I'll just send it to your mail.

  • Bullshit. You made the claim here, post the name of the study, if it exists.

  • get lost TROLL

youve already pestered people for this

you denialists make me sick.. why do you want to kill all humans?

stop harassing this person.. here are 2 examples to shut your pie hole

    Eur J Histochem. 2008 Oct-Dec;52(4):263-7

"pre-mRNA maturation seems to be less efficient in both 2-cell and 4-8-cell embryos from GM-fed mice than in controls"

    Histochem Cell Biol. 2008 Nov;130(5):967-77. Epub 2008 Jul 22

"hepatocytes of GM-fed mice showed? mitochondrial and nuclear modifications"

  • IlSeFousDeTaGuele creates multiple screen names and harasses teenagers and young people about there OPINIONS, because no one agrees with him so he needs non existent backup. He also goes on animal rights videos and says we need to kill animals. It's okay though because all of us are better than IlSeFousDeTaGuele or whoever your pathetic worthless blood sack is,as human beings. So thank you IlSeFousDeTaGuele.

  • OH NO you win youtube isnt letting me post any replies to you, sorry :)

  • This isn't about Monsanto being boycotted, its about our right to know what we are eating and being able to make a choice if we desire to.Why can't we make our own choices in food?Stop attacking others for "drinking milk" or for not drinking milk, there's no point except to make yourself feel better .We don't have enough answers to argue, instead we should be asking questions.uniting :)

  • "its about our right to know what we are eating" Then take it up with the legislature. Even if Monsanto wanted everything labled, they couldn't make it happen.

    That is the FDA's job.

  • Monsanto's board members and pretty much anybody high up in their company make up a big chunk of the FDA so yes, they could very easily label or not label our foods. :)

  • Name the Monsanto board members who are in the FDA....

  • Michael Friedman ,Margaret Miller ,Michael Taylor,Suzanne Sechen, Etc.

  • You listed a bunch of names. That is not the name of a study. You claim you have a study proving your claim. Post the name of that study, or we know you are lying.

    Your choice.

  • Really? I can buy seeds any day I feel like it from a lot of different companies. When is this global domination of agriculture supposed to take place?

And do you drink raw milk? Because BGH is denatured when milk is pasteurized.

Do you have any REAL reasons why we should boycott monsanto?

  • PUNJAB !

  • Boycott Monsanto and all it's affiliations

  • why?

  • Because Monsanto is one of the corporations that are trying to control all of the food crops of the world and make there Genetically modified seeds the only option for farmers big and small, they also poison the beef and dairy cows with growth hormones, almost all the milk you and your kids drink is full of Growth hormone.

  • Really? I can buy seeds any day I feel like it from a lot of different companies. When is this global domination of agriculture supposed to take place?

And do you drink raw milk? Because BGH is denatured when milk is pasteurized.

  • Watch "The world according to monsanto".... then come back here you smartass!

  • Hey I hear they are selling seeds over the internet for crisis gardens. Guaranteed to be "genetically pure" seeds with no GM.

Why don't you buy a few dozen sets of seeds.

In the meantime tell us some REAL reasons why we would boycott Monsanto. Company has been central to the US' agricultural prosperity.

  • Why don't you quit eating and drinking al the **** you are, and then come back here with an open mind, most peopel cant have that when their body/brain is poisened! Now stop replying please, you are a waste of time!

  • So in other words, you have no REAL reasons to boycott monsanto. I thought so.

  • Is that supposed to elave you as the "winner" of this conversation :D You obviosly can not think on your own.. fine by me, just stop replying to me now, you waste of air

  • THese thigns do not happen voer night you ignorant fool. No i don't drink milk at all :) Yes, but you are too dumb to recognize them, so end of discussion for my part.

  • Your mother never nursed you? So you have NEVER had ANY milk or meat whatsoever anytime in your life?

No wonder you became such an angry person. A psychiatrist might be able to help you with your rejection issues. Help you be a happier person.

Perhaps go talk to your mother about why she didn't breastfeed you.

  • wooooow, that comment shows me that you need some help :)

I did use to drink milk, but gave ti up and felt all the heahlth benefits that comes along with it :) Maybe you drink too much milk, that can cause ADD.. crazy bitch :D

  • "I did use to drink milk" Then you are not a vegetarian.

  • Im not now, i have never been and i have never claimed to be one HAHA! What is wrong with people!!

  • "What is wrong with people"

never mind ccr5cxcr4, hes just a pathetic TROLL

notice how many of his accounts hes used so far on this thread

Nousides, HumanShot, IlSeFousDeTaGuele, TravianCollege & conotoxin are all him... pathetic huh?

ive been exposing his abusive personality on several videos.. notice how he claims to be a scientist but cant seem to find the papers hes whining about.. is he blind or is he just lying?

i think hes just repeating someone elses lame argument

  • Well anyone who has any interrest in making THIS seem like it is some kind of scam, is not worth debating. He is either a part of some group with a hidden agenda, or just plain stupid, hey maybe he is both.. but thanks for the backup :) BTW Obama elected a former Monsanto guy to be head of something, don't remember what, but try digging into that!
