These kinds of movies affect different people in different ways. I definetly agree that children and young teens should not be seeing movies like this. Yes it is a beautiful movie, but a lot of kids won't be able to process the content maturely. Seeing adult things like this can have a terrible side effects on young children and young adults. Just think of the kids that have died trying to reinact wrestling moves they see on WWE.

It's not as if kids are suddenly going to steal daddy's razor and run on a sweeney rampage throughout their daycare center or anything. Kid's these days are smarter than they look, and they're just gonna see it anyway in a year or two's time when they look old enough to sneak from video ezy or see it at a friends place. I handled it perfectly fine and I'm only 14. It was a little shocking at first, because I'm not really used to that kind of movie, but I loved it. (Most 14+ year olds are mature enough for R rated movies.. but I'm not disagreeing anyone's parenting decisions or anything like that..) It's really good movie. I loved it, even with how young I am; and I don't usually even like anything dark like that.
