  • Bought a tear to my eye. God Bless abundantly

  • My wife wants a divorce I am devastated please pray for my wife and kids

  • I'm going through the same thing. The day I graduated college was the day my wife told me that she was divorcing me and that she was having an affair with my friend. Right then I knew that my own selfishness came back to haunt me. I came back to Jesus. My wife and I are separated, but we remain friends and go to church together. She is still seeing my friend however and she thinks she may love him. I pray that Jesus will correct this situation. I believe in the end, God will be glorified. Amen.

  • PLease pray for me. My wife left a week ago. 10 years married. I am a believer but lost my way and maybe thing God is trying to re-connect to me through this mess. Complicated!!! From TIm in Florida. Great inspiring video!

  • Awesome testimony. God Bless

  • Amazing. God is in Charge. Always :)

  • This is probably the best marriage testimony I've ever heard in my entire life. You guys had to go through this to testify!! The Lord Jesus is always faithful, always unpredictably amazing, and His plans are always perfect. God is the healer, and we are nothing without Him. God bless this marriage a trillion times. AMEN!!!!

  • Thank you for sharing about such a vulnerable time in your marriage. May God continue to richly bless your marriage and family!

  • What a beautiful testimony. God is so good. I'm praying that God restores my marriage and uses it to bless others inspite of the fact that it seems impossible.

  • This sounds exactly what is happening to me and my twin boys mother she seems to have some hatred towards me and Im trying to show her how much I love her and want us to be a family again the only difference we were not married and I wanted for us to be married but she just pushed away. Im glad I saw this because I now know I must leave it in Gods hands and trust in him instead I been pushing and all I get is coldness from her. Thanks for this testimony. God Bless and keep us in your prayers Ken

  • Awesome!

  • I don't know if my marriage can be restored. I work two jobs and have been for awhile while in school and my husband is unemployed. He jumps job to job. He acts like he can do no wrong. I resent him and myself. I want a long term marriage but I am running on empty.

  • @married toMDC- Every marriage can be restored!! it only takes two people to restore a marriage- you beleving and God! Please check out rejoice ministries online- they helped me through this same situation-

  • Jon and Lisa, thank you for your testimony. Thank you Jon for your faith in reaching out to your wife and working to become the spiritual leader of your home. My wife has filed for divorce three weeks ago after 3 yrs of marriage. I think that maybe she just accepted Christ 3 months ago. We are not living together now. I want to be an example of Christ's love to her too. Any suggestions how to reach her?

  • @wholelottabubba your marriage is healed n God hears ur prayers justbrelease it and let God do what he does best just remember God doesn't live n time we do. I'm believing with u. He is faithful.

  • I was blessed! Can you tell me the name of the tape that you were listening to in the garage? God BLESS!

  • I really want my marriage to be great. I have difficulties communicating my heart issues with my husband fearing he might let me down with his words.

  • Only God will never let you down. Never disappoint you. It is worth the risk to communicate to your husband. I just encourage you to pray that God will give you God-honoring words and the right motives.

  • This video is so good, I got all teary-eyed , because these people truly repented and had faith in Christ. You can see it in them. what a gracious God; that he would save sinners...

  • But by the grace of God alone, yes.

  • Jon, I am in tears by your faithfulness and trust in God to heal your marriage and that He woke you up to the importance of being the spiritual head of the family. Lisa, I am thrilled to hear you found the truth of Jesus Christ and your sin against a righteous, just and Holy God and were willing to forgive and trust because of His grace. God bless your family!

  • How can I keep from praising His holy Name for all that He as done. His work, His glory.

    Lisa Nunley

  • maybe you shouldnt say "medical school" so much

  • My husband was very nervous. He is not one to like speaking in front of people, much less a camera.

He truly is my hero of faith and genuinely loves the Lord.

    May the Lord bless you.

  • It is the last line that struck me the most of all... that is what I long to hear from my (prodigal) husband when he returns... that somehow, through all of this, my faithulness to our marriage has shown him how very much the Lord loves him and pursues him! Jesus, change his heart and bring him home.

  • Praying for you and your family.

  • John, thank you so much for your strength and courage to do what God called you to do for your marriage, in spite of the circumstances you were facing. My wife left me a year ago and I have received a similar calling to stand for the restoration of my marriage. Hearing your story of how God worked in your marriage has been a tremendous blessing of encouragement for me and I look forward to seeing how God will be glorified through what my family is going through. God bless you and your family.

  • Don't let go of Jesus! He IS able to restore your marriage. I praise the Lord for the restoration that He is bringing into my marriage (my husband left me unexpectedly one month after we married and I have been standing for our marriage for 8 months now..though he refuses to be a part of my life right now). Though we cannot see it yet, we must believe what the Lord will bring to pass in our marriages. Praise Him NOW for what He is bringing to pass! Rest in Him.

  • Amen. Rest in Him alone and may He alone be glorified.

    Lisa Nunley

  • @vegangelist i stand in agreement with u. no matter what keep ur rings on pray until heaven opens n most inportantly dont look at the natural keep ur eyes in the spirit and remember therez more 4 u than against u

  • To God alone be all the glory.

    Lisa Nunley

  • Thank you all for your kind comments. To God alone be all the glory.

    Lisa Nunley

  • LISA,you were the one with a heart of a stone by that time right?...my husband has no feelings for me as he used to..

    My question:

...your heart´s change was suddenly? How did you recover that love again for your husband

    ?

    JOHN:

Looking back, would you add or less a single day of that separation or was the perfect time?

i´ll be very glad if you reply ..and i think that most of us wanted to know it.

    thank you!

  • I replied to this awhile back and do not know what happened to it.

I would say that we both rest in God's perfect timing. It was a very difficult time. Very painful.

  • Though my heart change was sudden because of the Lord drawing me to Himself, causing my utterly corrupt and dead heart to be transformed and made alive, recovering love for Jon took time. I battled with fear and had a wall of protection that the Lord, in time, caused to fall down.

It didn't happen over night. But I deeply love Jon. He really is my hero of faith and the glory goes to God alone.

  • I love your story of restoration! God is so full of grace and forgiveness..... If you dont mind I plan to post this video on my blog site. God also restored our marriag. The world needs to know that he is God of the Impossible!

  • God bless you and your family! You are a blessing for others!

  • it is wonderful to see how God works in people' life..

  • Thank you for share your testimony...it encourages me to keep standing for my marriage to be restored, not by me,but by God.

  • I`m going through the same situation but i trust and believe in the Lord my God . Thankyou for sharing your beautiful story protraying who god really is and what he can and WILL do!
