  • hey man thanks for this vid you posted. you encouraged me to do the same thing as far as the exhaust goes. today i cut my stock mufflers off and shaped up everything nice and even. my bike kinda of sounds like yours but not as throaty but is loud as hell. tommorow i will upload some vids of what i did check them out on cmilligan18 and let me know what u think thanks bro.

  • man i got a 92 zx 11 that has the stock exhaust on it. the other night went out and tried to take the mufflers off and if im not mistaking they are welded on. so if i do it the way you say to do it . would i still need a dyno jet kit or something of that nature cause my bike is completely stock. please let me know man thanks cmilligan18

  • I had a couple of CBR 1000s and have thought about buying an old ZX11. I see people talking about "issues" with it. I never had any problems with either of my Hondas.

  • man i love these bikes, one day i hope to have one as nice as yours, show us some more pics of a drive by,so we can hear how it sounds going down the road.

  • how did you get your bike to run soo smooth like it does? i just did a motor swap cuz i had an internal oil leak in the last motor but that motor was a beast tho.. this one is having problems that needs to be worked out..

  • i have a gun fighter seat on my blacked out 11 like yours.. i also got rid of the muzzy 4 in 1 and had a gp styles shorty made for me.. its super loud! i love your bike its sexy for sho.

  • I cut the pipes using a chop saw. I recommend the use of TORQUE CONES. They are tappered doughnuts that help create some back pressure. If you do it right there won't be any lag. You may get a little popping. That's normal. Good luck!

  • nice bike and I love some of your ideas on the bike. Did you change the muffler system from the head? I'm currently looking for a new muffler and Wanted to put a slip -on different from Vance & Hines.

  • I own a zzr 1100 and i have to say fuck that would be loud lol I love it

  • is the bike for sale

  • 2nd best zzr out there mate

  • nice bike!! i lookin into to gettin a 95 ninja zx11. i have been lookin for pics of one like yours customized to see what one would look like, SWEET!!!! Was it costly to make it that way?

  • @lilbuster20 The cost is minus labor- Wheel chrome @$1500, Swing arm @$1000, Corbin seat @$400, Handlebar risers @150, Exhaust was cut at home

  • I have a ZX-11 and got infamous "second-gear pop out (to neutral)" issue... anyone there know there is repair vids or kits?!

  • @bluebearbank247

No, but there is the zx site if it's still up. Great time to rebuild the trans, clutch and any other work. It's ridiculously expensive. However, this is a common problem and there are gears available. You just have to shop.

    C

  • @bluebearbank247 yeah man my bike 2 gear is out it keeps like clunk clunk pap kind of noise. i dont know though.

  • thats mint i have not see a nicer zx11 in a long time

  • perfect very very nice

  • what kind of exhaust is that? very nice

  • Best bike for the money!

  • I just picked up a 1996 for $1700 IN MINT CONDITON with only 10k on it... What a steal! cant wait to get my tag monday so i can ride~

  • Thats a very neat bike and I can see there's many hours of work put into it. I have a ZX11C to here in Australia,it runs a worked 1128cc motor (59mm stroke with 78mm bore) with 150 bhp at the rear,it does 305 kmh and a standing quarter mile in 10.35 @ 135 mph. There a nice bike

  • your voice sounds familiar...

  • Hmmm.

  • yea,he DOES sound familiar. its on the tip of my tongue.......

  • Very nice. I had a 92 EXACTLY like it, sold it and was very sorry. I have a 94 and 95 I am going to look at in two days. got to have another one.

    Your exhaust mod sounds perfect!

    Are those cams stock?

Where did you get the blocks for the triple trees.

Great job, one of the best looking 92's I have seen.

  • Stock cams-

The handlebar risers are by Genmar.

  • hi nice ZZ how long was the extention you have done on the SF?

  • It is a custom 6" extension on the swing arm.

  • what exaust is that

  • It's the stock exhaust. You will have to remove it to cut it right where it goes into the stock cans. I used a chop saw. This helped keep the cut straight.

    Good luck.

  • Thats a nice bike i have a 90.how did u lower yours?

  • 1). Remove all of the plastic from the rear fender/wheel area.

2). Turn the shock/coil to lower the rear.

3). For the front you need to get blocks/spacers between the triple-tree and handle bars. About 1 1/2 " will do.

4). Loosen the fork bolts and this will lower the bike to where you want it.

    Good luck.

  • dude i got the exact same bike except for the extended swingarm

    mine's a '90

  • Post a pic.

  • Beutiful bike, what year is it?

  • It's a 92.

  • kereltje in zich zelf praten 4 life geak ;)!:P

  • tidy machine

  • Thanks.

  • awsome sound
