Great how powerful Cyclops is in this and how much he kicks arse. Same for the other episodes too. Much better, like tas & unlike Evolution. Seeing them in their prime is best.

However the end of this episode spoils it. Scott should argue with Logan & be more of a leader. Logan shouldnt be a leader, key figure, despite his popularity.

Finally, costumes are ace, but Cyclops needs the tas look back.

If Wolverine can be ex-Horseman of Apocalypse, living as a monk under the name "Brother Xavier" (What If), if Scott can be a pilot for Mutair Airlines (House of M), if Iceman can be a nephew of Sir Francis Drake (Marvel 1602), why can't there be a world with Wolverine as a leader of X-Men?

Well, that depends on which story arc you're reading. The show hits the nail on the head for the episodes so far. Jean is and always has been Scott's Achilles Heel, so to speak. Anytime Jean is in danger, or missing...or dead in many instances (Somehow it never sticks) Scott pretty much loses it. Back in the day, he was pretty badass, but as of the last 10 years or so, he's lost his touch. Save for a few spin off arcs.

Scott being a natural leader and a stoic individual has NEVER changed. Even when Jean dies, Scott remains the same with added brooding depending on the writer and the arch. What he doesnt do is endanger the X-men with his personal problems, that's Wolverines area of expertise. My real issue with this characterization is how incredibly soft the most veteran member of the X-men is portrayed. Scott would NEVER follow Wolverine, NEVER. Having Cyclops follow a Wolverine is fan service.
