no matter what : the fact is omnislash always 100% reliable , and lionheart isn't. If we accumulate cloud and squall's limit break , say in 10 times. omnislash does it 10 times, while lionheart only got like 25% chance of being succesfully executed which means only 2 or 3 times in 10 chances. Do the math, don't be stupid . Cloud and his omnislash are the golden boy of square, squall is just a cloud's failed clone product. ff8 is just a byproduct for soap opera emo angst fans gamer.

it took me like 20 lionhearts to omega weapon lol...i remember zell was petrified, so it was just quistis and i (squall). i kept using that magic (from quistis) that automatically gave u limit breaks...

Zack's pretty badass no argument there but I still think Cloud's cool.

TBH if Cloud and Squall dud fight it would most piker end in a draw because they are both every bit as skilled as each other. If we take story out of the matter I believe Squall can do just as well fighting Sephiroth as Cloud can and Cloud can do just as well fighting Ultimecia as Squall can. It's safe to say that he could take out Zack.
I personally don't see a problem with Cloud's personality. After AC it's at it's strongest because he forgave himself

FF8 limit breaks (at least squall's) initiate with a few hits (a max of 8) and then they add a finisher.

no its not, its also a part of renzokukken, its renzokukken finisher, renzokukken is the name of squall's limit break...if you go to the character screen and check squall, it will say "limit break: renzokukken" and if you hit the x button in renzokukken you will open a different tab containing the name of the finishers.
lion heart is just the final phase of the limit break...its still renzokukken, and still, I will keep saying that its better than omnislash because it actually is
im not talking about dissidia, im talking about the regular series. renzokukken is the longest one and if every hit deals 9999 damage (easily done) then you get the most damaging limit break in the series

Sure, after playing both, i think that the reason of FF7's fame is because it was the first ff in 3d. I've played all ff from 1 to 9 (except of ff3) and i think that ff8 os the best, then ff4 and ff7 in third place.

Just to let everyone know You CAN break the 9999 barrier on FF8 however i only found one thing that dose. Use the GF Eden he always did about 34k damage for me and my main 3 characters also always hit for 9999 each hit *it's not hard to do you really don't need magic even for heals* also I managed to find a way to Have a 98% absorb rate on all elements AND i didn't use game shark. if i could prove it ... i would
well ff8 dont have knights of the round... plus u can get sum1 hp to 9999 if u just arranged the right materia's.... also clouds omnislash can hit 9999/hit if equiped ultima wep or so i say sumtimes.... still lionheart is a bit stronger.... but o well doesnt matter i guess....
I remember the buzz when the lion heart kicked in lol. That was awesome. The bad feeling came when after the lion heart the boss was still alive lol. You knew there was work to do. lol.
I don't care how uber he is, I never really liked villains like Kuja and Seph... To default for me.. Now villains like Chaos, Edea, Ultimecia, and Kefka were awesome.

I played it, why is he any stronger than Kefka, Edea, Chaos or any other villian? They all have there uber awsomemness and Kefka could burn down entire villages with a lazer, that's more impressive than some big rock. Not saying he's not powerful, but I seem to remember Zack fucking him up, I also remember Cloud owning him storywise at the end. Also the last boss in FF8 seemed much more powerful.

Every character at level 99 gives Safer-Sephiroth an extra 30k health, and some boosts to his stats. Using Knights of the Round when fighting Jenova-SYNTHESIS gives him an extra 80k health. Sephiroth's Maximum health is 400k if you did everything.
ultima was in ff5 as well i believe but i dont think i ever used it i used a non special player i had mastered several including mime so my first was quite powerful with those abilities

but that is the nature of the game, in FF7 the limits are just that, limits, there are no extra attacts performed and every time you perform it it will always deal the same number of strikes.
FF8 limit breaks (at least squall's) initiate with a few hits (a max of 8) and then they add a finisher.
so you can perfeclty say that lionheart limit break deals more damage than omnislash limit break

no its not, its also a part of renzokukken, its renzokukken finisher, renzokukken is the name of squall's limit break...if you go to the character screen and check squall, it will say "limit break: renzokukken" and if you hit the x button in renzokukken you will open a different tab containing the name of the finishers.
lion heart is just the final phase of the limit break...its still renzokukken, and still, I will keep saying that its better than omnislash because it actually is

then the creators are idiots...because omnislash hits 20 times, lionheart can hit 27 if the beginning of the limit break manages to hit the max 8, and even if it doesnt hit 8 times at the beginning, its still more...so assuming both limit breaks deal 9999 damage within every hit then lionheart will always be better.

Sure, after playing both, i think that the reason of FF7's fame is because it was the first ff in 3d. I've played all ff from 1 to 9 (except of ff3) and i think that ff8 os the best, then ff4 and ff7 in third place.

Just to let everyone know You CAN break the 9999 barrier on FF8 however i only found one thing that dose. Use the GF Eden he always did about 34k damage for me and my main 3 characters also always hit for 9999 each hit *it's not hard to do you really don't need magic even for heals* also I managed to find a way to Have a 98% absorb rate on all elements AND i didn't use game shark. if i could prove it ... i would

well ff8 dont have knights of the round... plus u can get sum1 hp to 9999 if u just arranged the right materia's.... also clouds omnislash can hit 9999/hit if equiped ultima wep or so i say sumtimes.... still lionheart is a bit stronger.... but o well doesnt matter i guess....

LionHeart is pwning everything!!! strongest move in the whole FF-series.
Squall + Aura = Lionheart, Lionheart does with renzouken over 150K Damage that would pwn seph in 2 - 3 rounds.

Sephiroth never killed a bunch of people just because it was funny, but Kefka did.
Chaos was cool because nobody knew at the time it was Garland, what a twist!
Golbez was cool because was a pawn of Zeromus who also was the BROTHER of Cecil! Another TWIST!

I played it, why is he any stronger than Kefka, Edea, Chaos or any other villian? They all have there uber awsomemness and Kefka could burn down entire villages with a lazer, that's more impressive than some big rock. Not saying he's not powerful, but I seem to remember Zack fucking him up, I also remember Cloud owning him storywise at the end. Also the last boss in FF8 seemed much more powerful.

Every character at level 99 gives Safer-Sephiroth an extra 30k health, and some boosts to his stats. Using Knights of the Round when fighting Jenova-SYNTHESIS gives him an extra 80k health. Sephiroth's Maximum health is 400k if you did everything.

ultima was in ff5 as well i believe but i dont think i ever used it i used a non special player i had mastered several including mime so my first was quite powerful with those abilities
