A one percent transaction fee (TAX), proposed by President Obama's finance team, is recommending a transaction tax. His plan is to sneak it in after the November elections to keep it under the radar. This is a 1% tax on all transactions at any financial institution. Banks, Credit Unions, Savings and Loans, etc..

I used to live in Washington but I still keep up to date with this... I must say I have no opinion of Murry but I deeply HATE Rossi! He wants to deny emergency contraception of victims of rape and wants to take away a woman's right to choose. That's all I need to know how horrid he is. Murry may not be the best but I hope she kicks his ass. I'm happy Gregoire did. If Washington voted for Gregoire over Rossi I'm willing to bet they'll choose Murry over that pig. Stupid anti-woman douche.
Amazingly clever opening visual (6 seconds) - an "old", "outdated" (b / w, CRT, analog signal ) TV nobody would want in their home in these modern times ( HD color, flat screen plasma or LCD, digital signal). There's no intrinsic reason to have any TV set in the ad, except to convey the idea, "I don't want that OLD thing in my home, it's useless technology." Great Freudian advertising!!!
Another vote here for Rossi. My biggest complaint against murray? Seattle as a sanctuary city for ILLEGAL ECONOMIC REFUGEES. Pandering to the ever growing illegals here unlawfully, at the expense of the American Citizen Taxpayer. Don't be fooled by the portrayal of the few fringe in the Republican party. There are plenty of moderates, and it is time to end the subsidising of those who are not legal. I have nearly always voted Dem., but they have become way too far left. Done.
Obama now heads into the midterm elections with the highest average unemployment record of any president since records were first kept some 60 years ago. For presidents from Eisenhower to Bush, unemployment has averaged in the mid-5 percent range; under Obama, the average is 9.4 percent.
The current situation also breaks the record for the longest period of elevated unemployment: stuck at 9.5 percent or higher for 14 straight months.
Dino Rossi is a joke, but the fact is, we really can't stand another Patty Murray term! Kill taxes, Kill government handouts, kill useless war, open up the borders and keep the government out of my bedroom AND out of my pocket!
I'm ashamed the idiot voters of King County voted for Patty Murray for the last 16 years and will continue to do so. I'm not expecting much from King, but I hope the rest of the state goes for Dino, I know Clark County where I live will.
