Calling yourself Maestro is not a good thing when you show 2nd rate playing.

Not to be unkind, but he's right. I think you should shed the self-aggrandizing title of "Maestro". Even if your playing was exemplary it would seem pompous.

My apologies for a mistake in my previous post to cryman89. Please ignore my reference to Per Olav Kindgren as I cannot find his version of Ave Maria. However please still listen to his performances. He is very good.

@cryman89 . I have to agree with you. Ther are quite a few, much better versions than this. For those that are interested listen to Emmanuel Rossfelder, German Arnholt, Per Olav Kindgren and Cacho Tirao in particular for very fine renditions of this piece.

Does anyone know what version this is ? I am trying to find the sheet music for it but have had no luck.... Many guitarists seem to be playing the tremelo version which they all claim is their own ...

He is indicating it is own arrangement. Look for Cacho Tirao Ave Maria, where he plays a transcription by the Spanish Guitar Association.

Why not just take the simple arrangement and just make the melody tremelo and then you can call yourself a meistro and say its your own arrangement also.
