The reason why Muslims do not debate a Jew is because Judaism is not a threat to Islam. They are both religions that claim the exact same thing when it comes to Christ and how to reach paradise. What's worse, Judaism is not a religion meant for all, but a race of peoples, so Muslims don't feel the threat of evangelizing or conversion from the Jews. Jesus Christ is the threat, so that is where they spend all their energy.

The suicide bombings and happiness in Muslim settings that are derived from the deaths of Jews, Christians and Americans tell the whole story. Islam is a "religion" of hate, deceit and evil, and there's nothing more to it.

The reason why Muslims do not debate a Jew is because Judaism is not a threat to Islam. They are both religions that claim the exact same thing when it comes to Christ and how to reach paradise. What's worse, Judaism is not a religion meant for all, but a race of peoples, so Muslims don't feel the threat of evangelizing or conversion from the Jews. Jesus Christ is the threat, so that is where they spend all their energy.

@aveyowyns I'm Jewish and you couldn't be more wrong. Judaism is a religion for whoever seeks it out. Judaism, when practiced properly(Orthodox) is an extremely demanding religion and because of that will never be a mainstream religion, but that doesn't mean that we're not welcoming of people who want to join. We're just not concerned with building up the number of members the way some other religions are.

@aveyowyns Not entirely true, certain sects of Judaism are very involved in outreach, especially the Lubavitch branch. Furthermore, within Judaism there are certain basic laws (the seven Laws of the sons of Noah, i.e. non jews), that if observed, ensure a portion in Gan Eden(the afterlife), the same afterlife set aside for righteous Jews. You're right in that Judaism is not as active in outreach(though thay may be due to the numbers), but it is not apathetic to non-Jews.

...yeah, and certain sects of Christianity are not involved in outreach at all. Most often, when statements are made for just about anything, it's about the RULE not the exception. The Seven Laws of the Sons of Noah is nonsense - especially the belief that unbelievers can live righteously, can earn salvation - which goes against the Bible, Old and New Testament.
I never said that Jews were apathetic to non-Jews; I said that Jews were apathetic to the SALVATION of non-Jews.

Judaism is a minor religion in terms of numbers, the percentage of Christians active in gaining new members is not a huge portion either, it's just that there's more Christians to begin with so it seems to be more active, when in reality it's just a minor portion.
What's you point? Judaism is not in the business of building up numbers like Christianity, there's no goal here other than to serve G-d. What is wrong with that?

Respond to this video... Furthermore, the seven laws are not non-sense, they are derived from the Old Testament. You saying that it is nonsense does not make it so. Historically, Christianity has seeked to increase its numbers for reasons not connected to the religion itself, Judaism never has, so I would go as far as to say it's a more pure religion, one that wants to be left to itself and at the same time not impose on others. If you want in, you're welcome, if not, let us be.

at about 0:52:20 Moustafa makes the ridiculous claim that 3% of the American population are Muslim. 3% of 307,000,000 is 9,200,000. This is an outright lie, an even bigger lie than CAIR claims (they claim 7,000,000). The reality is 1,800,000 according to the CIA World Factbook. Clearly Moussy doesn't care about facts. I think Islamists claim there are larger populations in western countries than reality is to gain more power. (there are large muslim populations, but not a large as they claim).
