I think part of a comedians act is their appearance, and really beautiful women tend to look a bit too stunning or hypnotizing for me to focus on the subtle ironies and hilarious tragedies that a lot of comedy entails these days. Many of the women on this channel are pretty funny, and some are pretty good looking too, but I tend to think that women who aren't incumbered by self image can relax a bit more and be funnier in the process.

There are funny women though. I think most women care to much about remaining "feminine" and it trips them up. And, many men are uncomfortable with a woman speaking with confidence and out of the box that they are used to seeing them packaged in. Some of us are funny around each other and act different around men. I have a friend that would put this bitch to shame but she's never going to get on stage. We have to keep a presence so it looks like a viable occupation to the true talent.
