It was just overacted as to how much fun everyone was having & how outstanding everything was. I am from the South & while I've never seen the Royal Gorge (& we are considering it as a destination spot) I have been on cruises, to beach resorts, mountains, & the like. All the ads are the same. It's just has never been as portrayed. I guess I've become cynical over the years & ads of this type just increase my cynicism. I've never seen families or people having quite that much fun. My apologies.

Sappy video, way too much eating and drinkig. No trip is like this, I don't care if you have the best family in the world. Looks like the people in it have never seen a river or rocks.

Hello TheLoneDollier. Interesting comment. Yes, the train ride is just like this. Great food, incredible scenery and outstanding service. It's why over 100,000 people come from around the world to ride this train. Don't know where you are from, but if you're ever in Colorado, let us know and we'll set you up on this spectacular train ride. Don't quite understand your comment really.

A lot of the people we get on the train haven't seen mountains or rivers like the Arkansas. I know from personal experience... I work on the train. The only unrealistic thing about this video is that customers aren't dressed perfectly.
