Thanks for trying to help people, but you have incorrrectly labeled "tired" as a verb. It is a past participle that is modifying "teacher". Past participles that do not have helping verbs function as adjectives.
Wait what? Tired is a verb? In this case I believe it's an adjective. Maybe if the sentence read "Grading papers tired her out," or something then I could view tired as the verb, but in the example sentence, "tired" is describing the teacher, therefore adjective. At least that's how I see it. I could be wrong.
