Van dit pantserlied uit "De Slag om de Ardennen" met Robert Shaw krijg ik bij het beluisteren iedere keer wéér kippenvel : het doet mij de nekhaartjes oprijzen als een regiment huzaren, pantserhuzaren in dit geval. De kameraadschap en eensgezindheid die ervanuitgaan geven mij een opwaartse duw, waarbij ik overeind zou willen gaan staan om deze mannen te begroeten met een welgemeend saluut, al weet ik dat het hierbij slechts om film gaat. Applaus! Bravo! Ik stuur dit door naar mijn zwager Wolf.

@darkpuppetloveless If you watched this movie in socials studies you learned NOTHING my friend for the movie is althogether incorrect historically. Im sorry to say but a great war movie ofcourse. If you wanna learn history i'll give u links to good and accurate jounalmovies of the time ;).

@Knasterreal1....all these movies madein the 50s and 60s were just played on G v E, big stars and big guns....you had to wait till the mid 80s and after for some decent films. If you ever have a chance, watch the German movie Stalingrad, with Thomas Kretschmer, he has been in many Hollywood films, so he is recognizable. THAT is a though film to watch. German Saving Private Ryan....
