I love you guys at Dub spot. I can't go to your school , but this is the next best thing. I getting the native instruments maschine 1.6 next month for a private b-day gift for myself. DJ Shifftee , Mr. Evan sutton and this Guy is awesome I love to rock out my beats and lyrics for you guys make my day. My dream lives on at DUBSPOT/NYC baby!!!!!! keep up the good work guys, sweeeeet!!!!
Hello, this is a great tutorial. I was wondering how you get only a certain amount of steps to play in the stepper? I have the first 8 edited and only want them to by cycled through but it goes through all 16. Thank you, please keep it up!
i know u can automate most of massives parameters thru ableton in the arrangement view, but how can i automate the rate of the LFO once it is synced with the tempo? u know since once u sync it there is no knob u just have to adjust the numbers
@sp595 thank you! Be sure to watch out for our upcoming Sound Design and Synthesis w/ Komplete 7 course. It's taught by Heinrich Zwahlen and Evan Sutton and will go MUCH deeper into Massive and all the other instruments in Komplete.
@rempleforskin it's a combination of recorded videos, live chat and detailed feedback from the instructor on your assignments in both audio and video form.
@DubSpot This seems like a great opportunity for someone who is serious about getting into music.... but 5k for online courses? How's a poor guy like supposed to afford that. Lol guess it's free tuts and experimentation for me!
appreciate the tutorial. massive is indeed....massive. things like this help break it down into pieces though, which is very helpful for beginners and experts alike. keep up the good work over @ dubspot. more tutorials for the native instruments vst's would be greatly appreciated. komplete 7 looks like it's packing some incredible software
@kyleatstony thanks very much, we're planning on doing more with Komplete including doing a full sound design and synthesis six level online course. Check dubspot.com for more info.
@MrBlingBlingNr1 thats what makes it so endless in its possibility...and thats why you need to spend time with it instead of giving up cuz the one day you spent messing around wit it was "too much time"..
Do you have to have ableton to take one of the online classes? Because I think a class would be awesome but i only have FL studio right now!
paintballa5833 1 month ago
@paintballa5833 No. The Sound Design & Synthesis class requires Komplete 7, and while the course uses a DAW throughout, it is not 100% necessary.

Anyone knows how to activate the snap to grid? Thank you!
basspayer 3 months ago
@basspayer You probably have an older version of Massive, so you'll have to hold down ALT as you move the stepper ;)

@BRAINdeadBasshead make sure it's installed properly and then try re-scanning your VST instruments in the preferences in Ableton.
