@britishchick666 No, he means that, when it comes to princesses who sing about "wanting more", composers don't give a shit, or in this case, they give a big pile of it for the voice actress to sing. Why I'll never know. And like he said, a princess who wants more is "very original", and has NEVER been used before. I'm sure if the idea for a song WASN'T a princess who wants more, it would've been a good, if not, great song.

Maaaan it seems like NC hates all the movies I love. D: Yet he's too entertaining not to watch. This one makes me sad though. It's not the movie or its creator's fault for half this crap!! It's the executives who tossed it around like a hot potato!! The Thief and the Cobbler is the best finished version, with Arabian Knight being the worst. However, the Re-Cobbled cut is the best and truest, even if it's unfinished. It's what the movie was meant to be. Go watch it.

But, you know, parents and everyone freak out before they know what the hell is going on. If anything, kids these days are more prone to such material anyway, which is sad. Regardless, although it may have looked like it spelled "sex", it was actually "SFX".

Aladdin was already released, and Warner Bros, the studio who had originally funded the project, not only had a strict deadline, but little to no faith that it could work. So they dropped it, the Completion company picked it up, and Miramax took over. I'm not defending this cut whatsoever, but what happened to this movie is aLOT more complicated than "RAWR RAWR DISNEY RUINS EVERYTHING". Roy Disney HIMSELF stated he hopes the studio one day could restore the original version.
