So when the average person looks up the hospitals for the insane or mentally ill they think of them as the walking dead. Im not justifying this stupid video either. Whats with the church music?? I hope you people are locked up there.
what i don't get about insane asylums is that they send people to the most scariest,weirdest,craziest,most non-normal place there is....and expects them to become normal.i mean putting them around insane people/and doctors who seems to be emotionless is only going to stabilize (if not increase) there insanity.

They did an evaluation, said I was a danger to myself (more like to them lol at the time) I was very calm and answered their questions. They just sent me upstairs with staff. After I was let out, I needed therapy but I'm fine today.

Why is it that locking people up in these dehumanising places is supposed to make them "normal"? I can't think of anything more terrifying and degrading than being forced to live in such a place while being treated like a mindless plant. People are complex and sensitive social animals, not biological machines that can be "fixed" simply by pouring chemicals in their systems.
I don't think Scientology is a real alternative to psychiatry! Scientologists oppose medical psychiatry not because of the ethical problems and bogus science involved but because it is the most powerful competitor in the field of mental therapy at the moment. These are the same people who think toxic substances and nuclear radiation can be purged from the body simply by ingesting huge amounts of vitamin supplements.
