Great video. Excellent pictures. I was in NYC just before 9/11. We had dinner one night at Windows on the World resturant which was on the top floor of the north tower in the WTC. It offered a spectacular view of Manhattan. All this time later it's still so sad to me to think about that day.

It was so sad being at Ground Zero, an eerie feeling too, everyone just stood and stared and remembered the horrific sight we all witnessed that day.

Wow, I was so moved by this, I almost don't know what to say. Normally, a video of mostly still photos might be boring and uninteresting, but not so in this case! The pictures of New York are magnificent, the music is perfect accompaniment, and the meeting between yourself and Tammy is such a fine example of warmth and friendship. It just goes to show that, although we're separated by continents and countries, we may still be great friends. And I think that's a really wonderful thing. :)

The closest I've ever been to NY was a tiny glimpse of the statue of liberty from the window across the aisle as I flew into Newark from London. I live in Oregon and probably will never have another opportunity to travel.

yes, we should have a pilgrimage to the City, but alas, I was traveling with a friend who made all the plans and it never occurred to him that I'd want to see NYC. The tickets to London were cheap and out of Newark. Even our trip to Paris was for only a day (7 hours between train trips), because he didn't want to plan for an overnight. I had to respect his frugality, but I'd certainly do it my way if I ever have a next time.

I visited New York four years ago. I spent three days there and packed a lot into those days. Its the most amazing place I have ever visited and I'd love to go back again.
