You can twist the wire all the way around the bow and then tie another piece of ribbon around it, or you can thread the wire through the last loop and then around the rest of the loops.

Hi Meghan,

I tried to follow this video using an unwired ribbon, but it's shape is nowhere near as nice the bow you made with your wired ribbon.

I have boxes of new and used ribbons in my closet, but none of them are wired. Would you consider making a tutorial on how to make pretty bows with just regular unwired ribbons? Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll put that on my list of videos to make. In the meantime, try making the bow in the same way. Only instead of having each loop roughly the same length, make every set of loops noticeably shorter than the first. When you're finished, it should look like you have a mesa. That may help to make the shape better with unwired ribbons.
