I see where both arguments can be made but in a special case such as this running up the score shouldnt be evaluated as a constituent for putting a team ahead of another. Bob Stoops knew he had to run up the score to get the voters to put themk ahead of Texas and look past the fact that Texas beat them by ten points. I see why people like OU but Texas should have been the pick if the BVS wanted to get it right. But hey why not let the BVCS get this wrong and watc Florida kill them.

Why didnt you point out the games that OU played in pre-Conference? Washington (0-Wins) and Chattanooga (1-11 and a non bowl conference)

Yes. I believe OU had the toughest schedule in nation and that is why they are ranked higher in computer rankings. But have you seen their defense? They HAVE TO score 60 plus points every game because their defense cannot stop anybody except Texas Tech. Texas, however, is more complete team with good offense and better defense. They both lost to a good team and won against tough opponents. If you take out Texas Tech out out the mix, you have to go back to head-to-head record.

Texas because they beat Oklahoma and barely lost to Texas Tech because the safety or corner coulda picked it off to end the game but they didnt. They shoulda beat tech. Oklahoma did lose to Texas in a neutral location and beat Tech at HOME and the fans were a huge factor in that win because they put tech under pressure. But Texas almost beat Tech and beat Oklahoma.

If we were to all fairness a 10 point win on a neutral field should have been a very compeling fact to weigh into having the Big XII south representative. If OU somehow does not win against Mizzou then UT a team negated to the XII championship is good enough for a NC bid??? This is too messed up in the BCS, and shame on the Big XII conference for allowing the BCS to decide who their representative should be.

Oklahoma is the best team in the country...

Besides Florida, Sooners are playing the best, thus they should be in the big game....

I will give you the comment I have been supporting for ten years and that is an 8 or 16 team playoff. If you have a 16 team playoff you can have the finals around (JAN 4ish). The final 4 around (Dec 25ish). The elite 8 around (Dec 18ish) and the sweet sixteen around (Dec 11ish).

Then the elite 8 will play in the BCS 4 big games. Top two in the championship. The two semi final losers in the #2 game and the elite 8 losers play the #3 and #4 game and we still have all the bowl games. Peace:)

yes it is, but i will not say Okl or Tex for it is not fair either one gets shut out! How about that one? And that is the only way in my opinion to fix it. But there is an idea for next weeks show :)
