It sounds like it was recorded through a long distance telephone connection.

Thin sound, like a microphone inside a tin can, the orchestra sounds really distorted when the volume goes high, total lack of bass, and muddy mid frequencies sound. I think this sound was pulled from a very bad film soundtrack.

Maybe with some new studio technology and equipment it could be rescued and make it sound better. Is there an original sound track?
