Alan Alda has to be one of my favorite actors of all time and favorite human beings and i feel bad he had to deal with this interviewer

Watched two segments a night for the past three nights... what a delightful way to spend three evenings, and what a delightful person to spend it with.

Between this series of interviews, and the "Inside the Actors Studio" stuff you can find out here, I've just about given up television altogether.

8:25 to 9:00 is so cool..when he is telling about the 5 page scene in 15 minutes...so much of what he says can be utilized in other vocations: the drive, curiosity, discipline, humor, talent that is properly developed and handled...excellent.

I love how he interrupts the interviewer when the guy has no idea what to ask or where he is going.

I also find it interesting how he says that many of his performances could have been better. Shows that he is a really great man.
