  • What did you record the music with?

Ive tried about five different programs and none of them record clearly...

  • I have this album. Believe it was the first LP I purchased.

  • I bought a cutout 45 when I was 14 with a blank label. It was this song. It took me 30 years to find out what it was. Thanks for posting it Music Mike!

  • Thanks, Mike. One of my favorite bar bands. Which band were you in? When I was out at Hofstra used to go see these guys and The Vagrants as much as I could.

  • Sock it to Me , Mama....One mo' Time !!!

  • I have been looking for this song for years. How can I get this song downloaded to my list? I actually saw them in Nashville, Tn in the late 60's at Centennial Park. What a great show!!! The concerts were free back then. I also met Grandfunk Railroad there too. This is a great rock n roll that many people don't know about. Great memories.

  • You know anyone that can talk about this band will be dating themselfves. That includes myself. My couse richard was a member of the illusions from start to finish?? I'm in the cleveland area now, love coming to NY from time to time to see family. The family would always talk about the band. Loved showing off the LP's/band to my friends in cleveland!!!!

  • Soundss like they sampled Sly's sing a simple song.

  • The Illusion, One of the first Bands I ever heard sound as good as their albums, why? Because they could!! The Illusion were Great, The best place to hear a band live is outside free of any poorly designed acoustic flawed halls and with just a floor and cover over head for rain protection in it's heyday Newton Lake Park, PA offered just that for bands like the Illusion to the Guess Who, Turn it up! Great Post! TY (whoever calls themself the Illusion now can never measure up)

  • Love this, have it on a 45. This was such a great song in the day and shows bands like Nickleback that we had some baratone bad boy sound back then as well. Going to get this on a CD and blast it on the open road. A true American sound. Right on. Thanks guys.

  • Great stuff! Thanks Mike!

  • Wow! Ive never heard this til now! Except maybe in my past life! Its just been added to my list of favorites.

  • Great song from 1969. Loved the beginning. The 'B' side is a ballad called "Falling In Love" which I used to play on occasion. I had fun playing 'B' sides....

  • Thanks again Mike

  • I still my 45 of this song that I bought in 1969! Classic Rock at its best.

  • Great job, Mike! Cheers from Brazil, we're always tuned =)
