  • It has to be the hair. Or is it just good ol' fashioned practice? Probably both. Nick Sterling for the win!

  • For a second there i thought i was watching phil x on fretted americana!

  • who is this guy???!!!!

  • Kinda farty tone. Nice playing.

  • Great playing Nick!. As for the amp, wow, all those tones!

  • I have the Lil Elvis head and cab and the thing is just fucking balls to wall tone. The trem is the ONLY thing that sounds as good as my 62 brown face Showman. (actually better). I cannot tell you people who are considering getting one of these amps just how good they sound in the flesh. I know they cost a LOT but NOTHING will satisfy you after you play one. Don't demo one unless you can afford to take it home. Trust me, it's like dating a 10; after that no 7.5 will ever do it for you.

  • @jmanc Proably a Nash Tele. A 63?? I think.

  • awesomeeee!!

  • el34s?

  • @zannpaci - 7591s not EL34s

  • @myles111us what pickup is in that tele

  • Is it the HP version?

  • @porklash - I do not recall

  • @jmanc Nash T with Lollar pickups - he says this in another video... probably a Lollar Special on the bridge pos.

  • Heritage or Reissue H30

  • Sounds fantastic -- Nick is a monster.

  • It was a 2x12 but i do not recall which speakers ... but may be an H30 and Celestion gold or Celestion H30 and Blue.

  • Thanks. I love that sound.

  • Are you playing through 1x12 or 2x12 cab and what speakers?

  • That sounds awesome

  • that was really good! love the amp, the guitar, and the playing.

  • I can´t believe he cut his hair off!! Great playing though.

  • You aren't a fan of Slash are you?

  • Is anything footswitchable on this amp when you play live?..or you need a man like him on the video to press the buttons?? how you go from clean to crunch or drive?

  • crank it loud, let the power tube OD take ya there, and then roll down your guitar's volume knob.

a lot of people forget the power you have right at your fingertips.

  • Its a Nash T63 mate. Same as in the Monterey demo.

  • Is that the humbucker he's using the first minute?

Such an awesome playing, mixing fingerstyle, averidge rock and filthy funky blues. Just the way I love a guitar sound.

  • You will have to contact Nick and ask him. It is a one off guitar.

  • dude! lol thats totally his garage xD but i dont know whose bike that is, did anyone else notice that like metal riff he played after he dropped it down? lol

  • Yeah, sounds great and throaty!

  • I agree. I think all 65 amps have that throaty signature right down to the lil' elvis

  • What happended to his hair? :-O

  • Maybe he wants to be known for his playing and songwriting rather than his hair. His music has evolved and so has his hairstyle. Very good thing IMHO.

  • Sounds fantastic!
