You don't know how scary Halloween truly is until you've celebrated it on Staten Island. I was sadly stuck in that miserable city while I was on the way to the annual Greenwich Village Halloween Parade dressed as a California Raisin. The traditional costumes worn there are usually of a porn star like Ron Jeremy or Jessica Hahn (complete with vulgar plastic "accessories") And I was nearly killed because I had no idea that the expected "treats" were not candy, but condoms and sex toys! How filthy!

"I've been to Staten Island before, I'd be? hard pressed to find a more despicable city in the US! Nothing but hordes of prostitues and miles and miles of adult-oriented (i.e. porn) businesses. Hardly anyone there spoke english, and I often felt like I was in some pre-industrialized civilization. After only a few hours I was covered head-to-toe in dirt and filth! The only real highlight was a stroll around Silver Lake, where I saw lots of shirtless men jogging, BUT THE REST WAS A NIGHTMARE!!!!!
