Not animal abuse, guys. A lot of animals love to show off, and mules were built for this kind of stuff. So in a way, they get to do two awesome things at once.
I love watching these sled pulls. Its every bit as exciting for me as watching Park Pleasure or barrels. There are different disciplines because different horses do different types of work.
I have trained ponies and a donkey to pull and they like it. I know people who aren't around animals haven't seen that first hand, so they think it's hard for them to pull, but even small ponies and a small donkey are WAY stronger than you think and they love to flex their muscles. I'm a girl and I baby my animals, but the truth is they like it!
@BeckysFarmTV I have also trained horses, ponies and donkies and I would say some like it and some don`t! Don`t be that lordly to know exactly what animals feel. It`s not just your opinion which is right.
@Emmiiiiii96 . Looks can be deceiving. If you knew anything about mules and mule body language those mules are itchn' to go !! They love it. I have a rescued mule of my own and believe me, if they dont want to do something they wont do it. True story !!! :)
Educate yourself. listen tot he people on here who train these aimals or Equine types in general. your comment shows how little you know. dont base your opinions on lack of knowledge and emotion.
