1-3. Deceptively Jews in Yemen seem to be kind, they claimed to be loyal and Muslims have treated them very kindly for centuries on the basis they are countrymen & AhlAlkitab ( people of the book ) but when the so-called Israel created, more than 98% of Jews in Yemen migrated to Israel (some to America ) of course with the official help of Yemeni government or else how could they did it
3-3. fighters along with Palestinian Druze (Golan Druze did not participate in wars),, means without Jews of Yemen and Druze of Palestine, Israel might not win any war. CAN ANY ONE TELL ME HOW CAN WE STILL TRUST THEM??? . I would never say that they are harmed but at least they should be totally banned from migrating to Israeli so as not to participate in further wars against Arabs.
2-3. and once they are in Israel; you can guess what they did; they have participated in all wars that killed Arabs, they hate Arabs even more the Ashkenazi (Yemini Jews are Sephardim & Ashkenazi are European Jews), in six-day-war in 1967, Israel's victory mostly credited to the Yemeni Jews
Halacha is Halacha. It is not minhag-based either. It is clearly mentioned in the relevant Musechta in the Gemara as a pre-requisite. Rather, it is a minhag because of the Talmudic ruling.
And by the way another thing, Halacha is immutable divine law as compiled and classified by Chazal that is binding upon all Jews no matter what, through the auspicies of the Shulhan Arukh. Don't you dare try to twist that fact, or deny it. Don't you dare.
If you studied the Talmud, rather than wasting your time on Youtube, you would know these things.....that it is quoted clearly in the Gemara, the codification of Rabbinical Torah-true Judaism. IT IS NOT MINHAG-BASED. Not according to Maran Ovadia or Igrot Moshe??? Eh?
strange!!! he was swearing by the prophet muhammad in the begining of the song he was saying: ya (oh) mehiji...saeltik belnabi (i ask u by the prophet) which is a commonly used word by muslims although scholars say swearing should only be by GOD..
this song was written by Rabbi Shalom Shabbazi the most famous of Yemenite rabbis over 500 years ago, when he says saeltik belnabi he means moshe or mousa, when jews marry they do so in the name of moshe our prophet, they dont swear they say i have married you in the way moshe our prophet taught us, as is god's will
well, I'm still morning for Ofra Haza, believe it or not my friend. But I mean this guy has all the aptitude and skills of an international singer; I mean think about Khaled and Cheb Mami; I think he's in the same league, or am I wrong?
oh yeah definitely, but he needs to do a duet with a foreign singer like Cheb Mami/Cheb Khaled..even though those two hit big before doing a duet, they mixed some int'l beats to gain a bigger audience.
I can't imagine anyone whom would repel his kipa... or do you mean other obvious religious symbol that i don't? The people who drive their musical taste by non-musical factors are, I believe, not the ones targeted by the best - and there Zion rightfully belongs. I see he has the potential to be very famous, but I doubt that worldwide popularity is what he seeks. I generally like israeli music, but no israeli singer has such ability to keep the voice curlies nice and nonfalse.
I don't know why Zion Golan sometimes doesn't wear a kippa, but I do know that - traditionally - not all religious men wore a kippah. That would not be as common in most religious circles these days, especially in Israel thanks to Haredi influence, but the Sephardim/Mizrahim have often been more moderate in their religiosity anyway - and thus may feel, "We don't have to prove to anyone we're religious, because anyway it's more important that in our hearts we are". Just a thought/viewpoint...

Wearing a Kippa is Halacha, not an option!

@Sharabi613
it's a minhag based halacha

Texts in Jewish law relating to this article:
Babylonian Talmud:Shabbat 156b and Kiddushin 31a
Mishneh Torah:Ahavah, Hilkhot Tefilah 5:5
Shulchan Aruch:Orach Chayim 2:6
Halacha is Halacha. It is not minhag-based either. It is clearly mentioned in the relevant Musechta in the Gemara as a pre-requisite. Rather, it is a minhag because of the Talmudic ruling.

what i mean by minhag based halacha is that is a minhag based halacha.
it first was only a minhag that this is the way we behave and it became the halacha because it is the accepted minhag yisroel.
if you think i'm incorrect i will give you sources.
morehn 2 years ago
and this isn't a halacha that becomes minhag.
that's a different concept.
an example of that would probably be yom tov sheini in our times.

Very talented artist; I'm surprised why he didn't make to international stage like other artists with even a lesser degree of talent?
faudelz 4 years ago
maybe he got scared of the trend...like ofra and zohars fate..great singers with a really sad downfall

Well, rule number one to international stardom: Never wear any religious symbols; especially, obvious ones....
Rule number two: You've got to have a grate business manager/producer/marketer.

yes aeirl , not ALL but MOST for sure , I myself don't wear a KIPA and I still keep shabat and Kashrut , but I don't pray 3 ytimes a day.
today in ISrael a KIPA is a symbol for being religious, even though you can find exceptions in both sides
moshad2002 3 years ago
he does wear one, its placed more int he back of his head so its not so visible over his high hair. ive seen other pictures showing like that too.
